Have you ever woken up in the morning with a sweet tooth for cereal. Well the perfect cereal to quench your hunger is Frosted Flakes.Frosted Flakes is Cereal. You may recognize them by the tiger that says "they're grrreat"(Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes,2016) Frosted flake is Kellogg's brand. This is a cereal that has that sweet benefactor but is also healthy. Frosted flakes are amazing. They also give you energy in the morning. If you are feeling really dead and run out of coffee just make yourself a bowl and you should be good to go for the day. Frosted Flakes are important because they are a source for breakfast and breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
Frosted Flakes were created by WK Kellogg(Frosted Flakes,2017) and his brother Dr John Harvey Kellogg. WK bought the brand of Kellogg’s off of his brother and took it over because his brother was not sane. WK added sugar into the cereal to give it taste. It was originally just bran and said to taste like cardboard. This product and company were created in Battle Creek Sanitarium. The word sugar was removed from the sentence because they took out about ⅓ of the sugar that was in the brand(Kellogg's,2016). You may know the mascot for Frosted Flakes. John Harvey Kellogg wanted to cure “Americanitis”, which was the stomachache caused by the typical American breakfast. This breakfast consisted of sausage, fried ham, beefsteak, bacon, with whiskey and salt added on top. He decided to build a tiny health center that helped American improve their heath. In that center, he provided tips for healthy eating, and exercises. He did not allow fats, salt, or sugar in his clinic. In 1894, he took a trip to Denver, where he met an entrepreneur who invented a cereal made of shredded wheat. This inspired Kellogg to take this idea back home, and share with his brother, Will. Kellogg and his brother began to experiment, and created many cereals. They then met C.W. Post, and decided to collaborate and were eventually called themselves The Big Three. They invented 108 different brands of cereals. In the 1940s, they began adding a candy coating to the cereal. The Big Three controlled about 85% of the cereal market. The public’s enthusiasm for cereal grew drastically because women, who had children, had more time in the morning. Although convenience was the key to starting the day, the Big Three could not control the breakfast table without being finessed.

Multi- tasking is possible when eating cereal, fruit and nuts at the same time as checking voicemail or emails. Good nutrition needs to continue throughout the day. Fruits and vegetables, healthy snacks, drinking water or tea to stay hydrated, and eating dairy products all add to well-balanced meals. For example, eating healthy dinners with fish two times a week can vastly improve a person’s well-being because fish has omega 3 fatty acids.
