Evolution is a scientific theory which has a history of being substantiated through undeniable facts and findings. Evolution unites connects all living things on earth with one single ancestor. We widely use the word theory as a synonym as a wild guess, which really downplays the word. Whereas, the scientific meaning of the word theory has a totally different meaning according to Merriam-Webster Dictionary which is: “a plausible or scientifically acceptable general principle or body of principles offered to explain phenomena.” There are also a lot of confusion and misunderstanding which is surrounded with evolution. Even though Darwin was the first to gather evidence for the theory of evolution, there have been more and more discoveries since then which prove the validity of Darwins claims. There are undeniable proof of evolution which we have uncovered through fossils which give us an image into the past where it shows fish growing limbs and reptiles turning into mammals. Recognizing evolution as truth requires a shift in what we have known and not something to be scared of, rather something we can embrace to be aware of the beauty of nature. Science is not trying to disprove a deity or trying to make people immoral or promote Atheism. Rather through science people can embrace the beauty and change nature has done.
