Home is not a place where you took shelter, were raised up in, an address to, or where you currently live in. Home is family, friendship, comfort, and belonging. Most teenagers always wants to be in the popular group at school or anywhere possible. They will do anything to achieve the goal. Weather it be hanging with the wrong crowd and ditching their true friends. They don't realize of all the people they are hurting because teenagers only think about what they want at that given point. Teens will do anything they're told by other people to fit in and that's not the best way to be.
First of all, the causes of suicide among teens are numerous and various. The reasons cannot be pinpointed to just one cause, but we can identify the most common reasons for suicide. Bullying is a problem for most teens in high school, but this combined with stress, anger, or depression, can become catastrophic for a developing, young adult. Depression is also a contributor to suicide; depression is a condition in which the effected is uncontrollably sad, and sometimes for no reason at all, which is enough to make anyone contemplate suicide. Have you ever thought of running away because things at home are hard? If so, did you also think of all the effects it will have on you now and as an adult? Teenagers that run away from home do not think of all the effects it can have on them at the time and as they get older. All the teen things thinks at the time is that it will be easier if they can get away from home because it will be less stressful and will not have to deal with what they are running from. Reality checks in when the teen realizes that they have to face more and bigger problems on the street. They will not have any money, food to eat, somebody looking out for them or a safe place to sleep and stay. Running away is not the solution to problems that teens have at home. Teens do not realize that running away have serious long term effects such as health effects, drug abuse, mental illnesses, and low education and economic.
And there are many reasons for someone to be driven to the point of suicide. Those reasons are if the teenager is dealing with depression, bullying, sexual abuse and abuse of paraphernalia. Ways we could prevent this from occurring as often as they come now is if we were more accepting of everybody. Drug and alcohol abuse, stress, and reckless behavior are also common warning signs; another warning sign is if the person has thought or has attempted suicide. Just because someone attempts to commit suicide once does not necessarily guarantee that they will try to do it again.

Some of these are broken romances, family tension, problems at school, and other pressures. All though most of the time it is more than just one of these causes. There are many signs to look out for in a teen that will/may commit suicide. One of the reasons why teenagers are involved in social problems is lack of love from the parents. Parents who are busy with works and neglect their children, makes it easier for their children to involve in activities that are harmful and dangerous as a sign of rebellion. Curiosity of the teenagers is another reason why teenagers involved in social problems. This is because they want to know and try something new. Some psychological disorders can appear during adolescence like depression and anxiety unless parents or family support them. Society can help adolescents during this turbulent time of growth by creating some programs in the schools for all teenagers who do not have support. Even those who have support like family or friends need to know they have someone else they can go talk to and be able express themselves. Adolescent years are very difficult and teenagers need lots of support.
Why do teenagers rebel against their parents? Teenagers rebel against their parents because they lack their parents’ love and they start to build up resentment. (Bucknell) As they are growing up, they are developing their minds and trying to adapt to their surroundings. Despite some negative thoughts about teens, many create their sense of rebellion due to the lack of ideal parents. They begin to think for themselves and go down the wrong path without the right guidance. For instance, without the right guidance the teenager feels that they are the adults in every situation and they know what is right and what is wrong. They begin to develop habits that will later lead to unsuccessful situations. During teenage years, many are going through
