Something that I enjoy is sports. I like sports because most sports pass time because I am not staring at a clock. Sports can also be fun, like if I score a point, or if at the beginning of the game most players get adrenaline. I can also socialise with my teammates. Some of the sports that I play are fun and help me with stamina and reflexes and strategies. And another thing is that why I should play sports. Sports could pass some time because I need to be focused on the game that is happening. Another thing is that time flies when I have fun. When I have fun is when I am with my friends talking or playing a sport and helping them and cooperating. Another thing is that I don't pay attention to the clock when I have a game.
sports I play and take it beyond that to practice it during my free time to be the best I can.
From the time that I could walk I had sports on my mind, walking around with a little baseball and bat or even a football. But as I grew up I found out there are even better sports than just your basic everyday high school events. The first one I seen was snocross, racing snowmobiles at high speeds with only one thing on your mind and that is to win. Soon after though came the introduction to the X-Games and it became my childhood dream to perform there with everyone screaming my name.
My hobbies are watching or playing different sporting events. I enjoy mentoring the youth and working with them to develop skills that they can care with them throughout life. I love giving back to the less fortunate
When discussing why sports matter and the influence it has had over the course of history, many controversial issues have been whether or not sports have taught us to cultivate discipline. Sheed explains that sports can play an important role in the lives of people by helping them discover who they are and where they want to be. The lesson of sports goes deeper than just practicing or playing a game, they help build characteristics that will prepare you for many obstacles in life. Sheed mentions that sports were created and put into schools to teach discipline, patience, and honesty to male students. He continues to point out that sports are very competitive and that sportsmanship and discipline does not matter anymore, but instead the very need to win. In “Why Sports Matter,” Wilfrid Sheed, contends that “sports did not only outlaw cheating but drilled its participants to detect and despise it in each other”. This was a crucial lesson taught to a nation based on transactions.
The thing that brings me the greatest joy is physical activity. I love outdoor sports and working out in the gym. During my school years I actively took part in football and basketball competitions, and then with the growing awareness about fitness and general health turned towards the gym. Working out in the gym proves to be a stress buster for me, provides me with increased energy levels and gives me enhanced confidence. This helps me to focus more clearly and bring situational awareness to all my endeavors. My quest to keep testing my limits gives me the confidence to handle new challenges and strive for excellence in all my goals. Exercise and other physical activities keep me calm and make me feel at
The one and only thing that has ever made me lose track of time is playing football. To me the game of football is the sport that anybody can ever play. It makes me lose track of time because when I’m playing , I am so focused on my job and responsibilities that I’m not worried about anything else but making a play. When I was young I would talk about to my mother was football and what I did with the other kids on the field. If you would meet my mother, she would tell you that my whole life revolve around football and what I need to do to get better at my craft.
I’ve always been the type of person that truly enjoys athletics and have participated in nearly all sports offered to me. I started playing sports in elementary with club softball and basketball. As I entered my middle and high school years I was able to add the school sanctioned sports to my list of activities. This afforded me the opportunity of competing in volleyball, basketball, golf, track and softball. The camaraderie and life lessons of sports seemed invaluable to me.
A hobby I've held onto and cherished for a very long time was playing baseball. The sport was introduced to me by my father through the movie The Sandlot. The sport ended up holding a more significant meaning to me after I learned that both my Father and Grandfather played in their high school years. For me, Baseball laid down the foundation for my future and has been a positive force in my development since I was young.
I am not an athlete. Watching sports doesn't particularly interest me either. I have enjoyed and played sports in the past, however mostly as a bench warmer. Despite my lack of physical talent in sports, I have learned a lot from it.
Everybody has different hobbies that he or she would like to do for fun or relaxation. Sports in society today can be entertaining to watch and also fun to play for both men and women of all ages. I am a person that takes sports very seriously in my life. I enjoy playing sports as much as I enjoy watching them on television. I started playing baseball when I was seven years old, and played up until I graduated high school. I also played basketball from fifth grade to a junior in high school. I think that I am so involved in sports because my family takes sports very seriously, and they got me involved in them at an early age. My Dad, Mom, brothers and cousins have all been active members of sports throughout their lives. We all enjoy doing anything involved with sports. It could be actively playing a sport, watching an event on television, or going and watching a sporting event with a group of people. I think we live in an area that has a large history of sports and many traditions and customs that go along with it. By living close to Pittsburgh my entire life I have been able to experience and appreciate the history and legacy that our sport teams have offered for so many years. I have been a huge fan of all the Pittsburgh sports teams for my entire life. I have been to numerous Pirate and Steeler home games with family and friends. I think this is why sporting events can be so entertaining because you get to spend quality time with your family and friends and share in all of the memories to come.
If you were to ask my friends what I love to do, my guess is that the majority of them would come up with this reply, "He loves to play sports". Sports are a big part of my life, and if I had to choose my favorite sport to play it would have to be basketball. I couldn't imagine going a week without being able to touch a basketball, and I thought I would never have to. But on one summer afternoon, that all changed when I broke my leg. It left me on crutches for two months, and not being able to play basketball all that summer. At first I thought it wouldn't be so bad, getting all the attention and sympathy from everyone. However, after one game I soon realized that I would do just about anything to get rid of those horrible crutches and get back on the court.
Opinions of the importance of sports usually fall into two categories. People generally either live, breathe, and love sports, or they do not see a point to them. Critics of sports usually see them as “just games.” Although there are multiple arguments against sports, overall, they make a difference in the lives of many people. Sports matter to the wellness of individuals because they contribute to overall health, have a positive impact on academics, and give communities along with other groups a sense of togetherness.
