Cats are annoying, rude, and nasty. They scratch all of your stuff and try to eat your fish out of the tank. They don’t listen to anyone and ignore you. And they cough up hairballs. And I would hate to clean out their litter boxes why won't they just use the bathroom outside like other animals do?
First of all, litter boxes are gross. I know that it is something about covering their scents from predators but what predators do they have in the house? The litter boxes still smell like poop and pee. I don’t like it when cat owners say "I hate cleaning the litter boxes" like bro if you don’t want to clean the litter boxes then why did you get a cat? Give it away or something.
Second of all, they scratch everything up. I did research on
“A person’s a person, no matter how small.” This lovely quote was spoken by a brilliant mind we all know today as the children’s book writer, Dr. Seuss. When someone mentions his name, we all immediately think, “Oh! The children's book writer!” but what we fail to recognize is that Seuss was shaping the minds of us and millions of other children to find the best in people, be a better person and to agree with equality.
Christopher McCandless’ long, fascinating, but an ultimately fatal journey into the wilderness of Alaska is depicted in the biography, Into the Wild, written by Jon Krakauer. Late in the of summer of 1990, a very young Christopher McCandless left his ordinary world in Annandale, Virginia to pursue a solitary life in the untamed wilds of Alaska. Many will insinuate that Christopher McCandless’ actions were childish and idiotic, but a stronger argument would be that his unconventional thinking and desire to live life on his own terms allowed him to reach self-actualization.
Now that we’ve established the advantages of using a backpack diaper bag, the next thing you need to identify is what factors to consider before you buy one. Here are some points to ponder:
Sidewalks are different shapes and sizes, people tend to make their own decisions to which way they would want to go. Going through the motions on a sidewalk is similar as going through the motions of life. There are many turns that could get you to your final destination and turns that can also get you into places you would not feel so comfortable being. Staying on the right path and trying to get to where you need to go isn’t so hard but when you have other sidewalks with nice grass and big beautiful street lights that can be a very big distraction to the eye and that could cause problems in your life. Nice sidewalks sometimes don't always tend to continue a nice path so they can be very believing at first but when you make it to the end
Plastic bags are useful tools to use and have other benefits as well. This is a statement that is up for debate. Many people disagree with the statement that plastic bags are useful. The question is whether or not that is true. American stores offer both plastic and reusable bags, but when customers go through a line and say he or she wants a plastic bag, he or she might get a disgusted look. For most stores plastic bags are now frowned upon. The stores want their customer to use the reusable bags that the store offers them to purchase. Throughout the article Plastic Bags Are good for You, Mangu Ward goes back a forth of weather or not the bags are good. Mangu-Ward explains the cause and effects of which plastic and reusable bags have based
We always hear "do not litter!" or "throw your litter in the bins", maybe some of you bored to hear that yet we still do not throw it in the correct place. Litter is a serious habit problem to just throw away objects on the ground or leave them lying on the ground, instead of putting them in the garbage can. In Indonesia, the amount of litter is 175.000 ton/day and this is increasing every day. But we don't have to see that far, just look around us, our campus, Sanata Dharma University is still facing the littering problems. Each day, although there are various spots of bins and it is never full yet there are many litters lying in the floor, you can see the student hall as the evidence that even though it has 10 spots of bins, we still find people throwing their litter everywhere.
“Racial Insults and Quiet Bravery in 1960s Mississippi”,” by Janet Maslin and “‘The Maids’ Now Have Their Say,’” by Manohla ‘s Dargis both reflect the ignorance of the white women in the South during the 60s, rather than the ignorance of “The Help.” Stereotypically, black people in the 60s were uneducated, and problematic. Despite the civil rights movement, white children were raised and loved primarily by the help and never acknowledge the helps life outside of their southern plantations. The novel, by Kathryn Stockett explores the white white characters troubled relationships, lack of parenting skills, and problems similar to those experienced by the black characters. Stockett and Skeeter, the narrator of the novel, share the idea that the emotional needs and struggles of “The Help” should be recognized and credit should be given to these women who are the foundation of the white family.
Cleaning cat litter is hardly anyone's idea of a good time, so it's not a surprise to see automatic litter boxes slowly growing in popularity. The problem? Most of these products are not exactly reliable, requiring you to maintain them on a regular basis. Since the whole point of a self-cleaning litter box is to be able to stop worrying about your cat(s) for a while, this is a big issue. Plus, with so many automatic litter boxes vying for your attention, finding the right one can be a daunting task.
Albert Einstein once said “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that is it stupid.” Sir Ken Robinson stated that schools are destroying children 's creativity with their curriculum, there are many facts that support this idea. Students are required to think a specific way, prepare the way teachers want them to be prepared. Students also have their own opinion, because they are not afraid to be wrong, and need a way to move forward.
On almost every job application there is a question box that some people fear. That box asks if that person has ever been convicted on a felony and, if so, to explain their crime. Obama’s administration joined ‘Ban the Box’. That If a state or local business was to join the movement of banning the box, that means they would have to “eliminate job applications that have people check off whether they have a criminal history, and not asking about it until other qualifications have been reviewed.” (,) Banning the box seems like the perfect solution for former convicts to get back on their feet but it is easier said and done.
I am sure you are like everyone else out there and you want to achieve meaning in your life. There are unfortunately no short cuts to success or to invite meaning and fulfillment, into your experience. They are all the result of self-discipline and consistent commitment. Of course the moment you start down your journey towards the success you have visualized, you will start to enjoy the fruits of your endeavors. The challenge is to remain focused, patient and driven enough to stay on the path you have chosen. This is where discipline comes into it.
Do you know that there are about three trillion pounds of garbage on Earth? Sadly, these pieces of garbage kill animals when they eat the garbage because the garbage has a lot of harmful pathogens which sometimes give them serious diseases. Even the air pollution in the landfill can also harm the animals which can be a real danger to them because they can die or suffer in pain. If people recycle, then it wouldn't create this problem which is going on the world. People should recycle because it saves energy, reduces landfills, and saves money.
...t initially harm the animals, but are only trying to help. It is considered abuse by which the owner fails to provide food, water, sanitation, and veterinary care to the animal (PETA, 2014, pp. 1). Most hoarders keep an unusual number of pets because they suffer emotion distress of a tragic event that has happened in his or her life. Animal hoarders don’t realize the suffering they put their animals through until it’s too late (Animal hoarding, N.D., pp. 1). The animals do, however suffer from lung disease, pulmonary disease, along with many other diseases (Hoarding, 2014, pp.1). Obsessive hoarding consumes time, money, and emotion of the person. Victims of this disorder won’t ask for help in which they are afraid that they are going to be accused or judged by their actions. They rarely seek treatment unless they are motivated to do so (The pet issue, 2012, pp. 5).
Can you imagine having to hold it for hours because you don't have a toilet with water and a door to give you privacy? The problem with this is that not only invades your privacy but also carries bacteria's, germs and diseases that can be easily spread without things like a toilet, toilet paper, water, and soap. Fifty communicable diseases like to travel in human shit, which is basically our disposable system or trash can. An example of this is a baby called Marie Saylee, she was nine months old and died in three days from diarrhea. How did she get that terrible disease, probably from someone who did not wash their hands because there wasn't any water and touch the baby?
Have you ever woken up in the morning and felt like not going to the college the whole day? Of course you have. You think of skipping all the classes, but then you contemplate on the consequences of the choice. The attendance will suffer. You’d miss out on that important question or in some people’s case you’d miss out on the exam. You vote against it and go. Now in the above case you had a choice of whether to go to the classes or not, and you chose to go. That decision may prove to be fruitful or a rather disastrous one, but whatever it may be you have to deal with the consequences that come with it. We make countless decisions every day, every moment and once a choice has been made, the actions play out, and the consequence is delivered. We have to live with those consequences. Our choices and decisions guide our lives and build our futures. Whether people notice it or not, the choices we make today affect our tomorrow.
