Many people rush through their daily life without contemplating their actions, thereby missing vast opportunities for achievement. They waste valuable time engaging in frivolous matters instead of putting their energies towards more productive and meaningful purposes. In the words of the Dalai Lama: “Life is not about acquiring money and other facilities; it is about dedicating your life to helping others as much as you can.” The immeasurable value of helping others has been engrained in me since childhood. As a result of my own difficult family circumstances, I have become more sensitive, kind and mindful towards others and their own situations. I have developed a passion for helping others, which, in combination with a proclivity towards medicine has lead to my descion to become a Physician Assistant. I want to live a life where I can provide healthcare and aid to anyone who needs.

The intent of taking a personality test is to determine which of the sixteen personality types a person belongs. Knowing your personality type can help you explore suitable occupations and careers (“Jung Typology Test”, 2017). It can also help determine which communication and learning styles suit you best (“Jung Typology Test”, 2017). The results of my Jung Typology Test revealed that I am an ISTJ. My percentages are 28% introverted, 28% sensing, 25% thinking, and 62% judging. Based on my personality type, I am one of four personality types that fall under the guardian temperament. From my research, I hope to learn more about my personality type and how I can use it to my advantage as I progress along my Air Force career.
The Myers and Briggs Analysis is a series of questions that when answered are examined and grouped together in order to determine the personalities of those taking this test. This particular test can result in sixteen different outcomes or types of personalities, which is determined by four different categories that judge if you are introverted or extroverted, use your senses or your intuition, your choice to think or use your feelings, and finally if you are judgmental or perceptive. These series of questions are designed to judge our personalities and help us to determine which career pathways we will be most suited for based on our personality traits and abilities to work well with others, which is important for our future decisions.
I want to be in ASB because I think that this is a great opportunity for me to practice my leadership skills to help all students at Medea Creek. I enjoy helping people and working with others and I know that ASB is a wonderful chance for me to do so. I know that our school should have voices that help others who cannot speak up for themselves and I will help them raise their voices in school. I want to be part of ASB because I think that this can help me mature, and also help achieve my goal for life, which is becoming the president of the U.S. I believe that ASB is a unique opportunity to help me become a game-changer in our school and community. When I was born, my family had just migrated to California from Mexico. In a new country, my father worked in landscaping earning less than $4 dollars an hour, while my mother relied on public transportation to take her newborn child to and from doctor visits. In the land of opportunity, my family struggled to put a roof over our heads. But never discouraged, my parents sought to achieve their goals and worked tirelessly to raise my younger brother and I. From a young age, I was taught the importance of education; this became a major catalyst in my life. My desire to excel academically was not for self-gain, but my way of contributing to my family’s goals and aspirations.
Both my current job and are dream jobs are in the medical field they are very similar yet different. In the words of Soren Kierkegaard: “Personality is only ripe when a man has made the truth his own.” There are many different people in the world. Everyone has a different personality that makes him/her unique. The tenth grade class at Presbyterian Christian School took an academic test and three personality test to discover potential future careers. ACT Incorporated developed the PLAN to show our estimated ACT score, and the possible careers we would do the best in. We also took three personality tests to discover our true personality. KRB Consulting Company made a test where we rate ourselves according the adjectives that best describe us. The second test we took was “The Colors of Careers”, given to us by the assistant to the president of Jones County Junior College, Gwen Magee. The final test we took was the “Jung Typology Test”. The purpose of this paper is to discover the differences in our personalities and the careers that follow our certain personality.
Becoming a physician assistant requires many years of hard work, responsibilities, and schooling. A physician assistant provides healthcare under supervision of a physician, anywhere from prescribing medication, to completing physicals, to counseling patients. Physician assistants are becoming a high demand position. Physician assistants have one of the highest rises in employment in the medical field. Becoming a physician assistant is a great alternative to becoming a doctor. Physician assistants have very similar responsibilities to doctors but with less schooling, less student loans, and typically the sponsoring doctor/facility will cover the malpractice insurance.
The reason behind this test is to find strength, preference as well as potential, which can guide me to find related tasks and suitable learning style. Firstly, I would describe music as my preference because I live with the music. It helps me to relax and sometimes can control my mood. Another point is an intrapersonal intelligence type can be described that I am self-awareness. It can be said that I am emotionally mature because I can control my emotion well. When I worked at WDW, I did not expose my feeling to the guests even if I feel fatigued because I believe that the guests deserve worthy experiences when they enjoy themselves in the park. Finally, logical-mathematical intelligence describes how I use logical thinking to make decision including being able to detect the patterns as I mention earlier from the VAK test. Also, I feel that I am good at numbers as
According to the study of this course, I have learned many useful management skills and I feel like these skills will be applied to my future career development. When working on the self- assessment tests, I found myself fall into the category of the ISTJ personality types, which as illustrated by Myers Briggs, is the type of personality that is conscientious, considerate, and helpful. Personality traits such as honest, dutiful, practical and responsible are my strengths; personality traits such as stubborn, insensitive and poor communication skill are my weaknesses. Related to the knowledge I have learned in the course I believe both strengths and weakness will have influence to my future career development. In this reflection paper, I will demonstrate the strengths and weaknesses that may place the most influence on my way of success.
Why do I want to be a civil engineer? Well, I am mainly interested in becoming a civil engineer for two reasons. My first reason is that I want to see something I designed on paper become real. I have always thought that was the coolest thing about engineers: they can design things like skyscrapers on paper, and then have them built because they are free of all errors. My second reason is just me wanting to have a career and not just a regular job at a factory, where there is always the chance of jobs being offshored or done by machines instead of people.
