When Katniss won the Hunger Games that was the best part of the novel/movie because she was not alone she won with her love and that love is stronger than any force or being/living being. Why was this the best part, well it was because that was the only nice part of the novel/movie in this essay it will prove why it was the best part of the story.
The first reason is when Katniss wins the Hunger Games and this is because without winning the Hunger Games she would've never entered the hunger games for Prim, without doing that she would have watched her sister die on screen, with watching that she would of started a riot, starting the riot she would of been locked up or even killed. On the other hand, Katniss probably would’ve never did all that or met anyone during the Hunger Games and then she would have been sentenced to death for fighting against the capitol.
My second reason is that she also learned how to stand up to the capitol and be a rebellion to the people that want to see her fight against her fellow friends and companions. But she could of died trying or be a sad person for doing it (she would either of had to die or Peeta would’ve died. Standing up to the capitol is good but not the right thing to do in total because the capitol could and would kill you on site for doing anything

The Hunger Games was a good movie when it came out. This movie refers to a dystopia world in which there are 12 districts and a capitol who rules with an iron fist, in which the districts must provide a tribute to fight in an annual Hunger Game as a punishment for a past rebellion. Katniss Everdeen is a hunter from the 12th district, which Gale, her friend gives her tips on hunting. One day her sister, Primrose Everdeen, is chosen for the Hunger Games, and in order to save her, she volunteers instead to serve in the Games along with Peeta Mellark. During a TV interview, Peeta confesses her love for Katniss Everdeen, which causes the enragement of the latter; however, she later forgives him as he explains to her that it was only to gain sponsors. During the Hunger Games, she did not receive a lot of supplies except some medicine to cure a wound, but Districts 1 and 2 almost won the Game due to their training, and amount of supplies which Katniss destroys but cannot recover any of them. The Hunger Games was one of the best movies I ever watched because it has a little bit of everything and it captures the real-life survival game that we live on a daily basis.
It’s inevitable that there were countless similarities between The Hunger Games book and the movie, as the movie was based off the book. However, there were plenty of major differences that stood out in the movie in comparison to the book. In particular Peeta’s leg situation, the way characters died and lastly, how Katniss received various gifts. These changes were made in the movie, each with a specific purpose.
The Hunger Games are one of the most emotional, viscous and cruel books I’ve read before. But both heroes Katniss and Peeta have survived to live the next day. They are both winners and Katniss lives to feed her family once more. It was a fantastic book of amazing features, characters, themes and creativity.
In “The Lottery,” Mrs. Hutchinson says, “`It isn’t fair,’ she said. A stone hit her on the side of the head” (Jackson 7). Mrs. Hutchinson does not even try to get away, she only stands there and lets the townspeople kill her. She does not try to stand up to her society at all and she shows how she does not even try to change her fate. She only stands still and does not try to get away. Though these stories both have a female protagonist, The Hunger Games has a protagonist who stands up to her society in time to save herself. In The Hunger Games, the main character, Katniss, is one of the two participants still alive at the end of The Hunger Games. She and her fellow district mate, Peeta Mellark, are both still alive. The government says only one of them may win. Katniss convinces Peeta to eat deadly berries. They are just about to eat the berries when they are both declared the winners. Katnisss is reacting to the rule change. She is showing how she is not going to stand by and let the government control her. Katniss shows people should stand up for what they believe in and to not give into their society and to not be controlled. Both of the stories have a female protagonist differing how and when they stand up for themselves.
Although the film follows along with the novel very closely there are some apparent differences. For instance, the book is told in first person from Katniss Everdeen’s, the protagonist, point of view. Therefore readers observe this world from Katniss’s mind in the book, whereas in the film she never speaks in first person. This leaves us seeing less outside events in the book and revolves the story around her interpretations solely. In the movie however we see the world of Panem in an overall perspective. Viewers vividly get to witness situations in full effect whereas in the novel Katniss may merely say certain events in a couple of sentences or does not mention them at all. For example, in the film there is a huge riot in District 11 after the death of a young girl named, Rue. This incident in the book cannot be portrayed through Katniss’s perspective because she is not aware of it at the time due to the fact she is in the Hunger Games. The district does send her a parachute, a gift from a sponsor, and she wonders how these people have sent it when they can barely afford to feed themselves (Collins 239). When Peeta had announced to everyone that Katniss was the girl he loved Katniss got mad. Peeta may have really loved her, but Katniss did not feel the same. Once they had gotten into the actual Hunger Games they had split up like they didn’t know each other, but towards the end they had worked together to win. Peeta had saved Katniss life at times and Katniss had saved Peeta’s life at times, but they all just did it to win together and get more people to like their District. There was originally only supposed to be one winner, but towards the middle they announced that two people from the same district could win.
