Do you cringe when you hear a curse work and scour into a blanket when a nude scene of a television show comes on? Well, I would have to tell you that you aren't alone tons of people are very against these things being on public television. It isn't the right place for cursing or nudity. Our grand parents watch these television channels and our younger generation does too. In my opinion, I would say that young children shouldn't be exposed to it, it can cause a lot of questions to be asked, and people with different religious views or cultural views can get very offended.
I personally believe that children at a young age should not be exposed to nudity and cursing especially on public television. It can cause kids to act out. Lots of kids see and then do, midialit. org stated that many can't tell the difference between reality and fantasy. This can cause a lot of problems because if a child sees someone cursing on public television and then runs around cursing it looks bad for the parent and the child. Plus you don't want your child to start undressing in public or anything that would be horrible. I really believe that people should sensor more on public television. Private television networks like MTV or VH1 are fine, but public stuff on ABC or PBS definitely should be censored. …show more content…

Children are very curious, that seems to lead to them asking lots of questions. Personally, I don't want to explain why someone calls another person a very harsh word and slaps them. I also don't want to explain why a woman's nude body looks different than a mans to a three or five-year-old that's insane. You especially don't want to be having the talk with your kid under the age of ten. By censoring these things, it allows parents to have their kids be a little more naive about the shows and worry less about their child asking adults in their life these
