Recommended: Opinions on abortions
What I've just discussed with my mom, and seen in the recent debate is what makes me want to get away from my family. Yes, I know I can't get away from politics, or any of that stuff. However, my main focus is on what my mom and I discussed and what I saw in the recent debate. Now, please don't get upset if my facts may be wrong, because people make mistakes. You can calmly and respectfully correct me on them, instead of being rude about it. Now, here is what I have to say.
I believe every woman has a right to decide what she wants for her body. If a woman wants to get an abortion, she should have that choice. She should not be punished for making a decision that she feels she needs to make. We should not have to punish someone, because of what they want to do with their body. I understand people believe abortion is wrong, but it's also wrong to take away a woman's right to decide what she wants to do with her body. If I knew someone who wanted to get an abortion, I wouldn't get mad at them and say it's wrong. Because I know it's their decision to make, and nobody else's decision. It's a personal decision every woman should have the right to choose.

Yes, I understand they can put the child up for adoption, but adoption centers are already becoming overfilled from what I've heard. What if the woman could have serious health risks if she continues with the pregnancy? What if the woman finds out she could possibly die from the pregnancy? Why do we have to butt into the woman's personal decision, and punish her for what she chooses to do? I would understand that if someone wanted an abortion because they could obtain serious health risks, or could possibly die from the
To have an abortion at all, I personally do not agree with. However, there are certain extents in which I think are right to have an abortion, suc...
For some, abortion is a touchy subject like politics and religion. In America, abortion has always been a controversial topic of discussion. The Supreme Court in the case Roe vs Wade case set the way of guidelines and the right for women to have an abortion if she chooses. In 2015 abortions is still an ongoing debate amongst religious groups, politicians and normal citizens. People that are for the rights of women to abort are often criticized and ridiculed for standing up for their personal beliefs. There are people who have conditioned their minds to think that women should not be allowed to have abortions if she was not raped or a result of incest, which I strongly disagree with that type of thinking. However, it is the law of the land, it is a women’s right to choose and she has to live with the psychological effects of her choice.
When it comes to abortion I believe that it should always be left up to the woman to make the decision on whether to keep her baby or not. Having a baby is no eas...
This essay, written by Don Marquis, attempts to undermine general beliefs that anti-abortionist views are simply based on irrational religious or other beliefs. The essay ignores certain special cases of abortion; and mainly purports its focus onto the general arguments against anti-abortionist views by pro-choice holders. Marquis begins by outlining a common argument of anti-abortionists, in which a fetus is seen as being human enough by possessing a genetic code, and is thus necessary and sufficient for dictating that being as a human. This leads to a common conclusion that if a fetus is a human, it must follow to be understood as it being wrong to kill a human. Secondly, he outlines the argument of a pro-choice advocate; which asserts that fetuses are not rational or social beings, therefore it is not a wrongful killing.
Every woman has rights and they should be respected. I believe abortion is a fundamental right consistent with Roe vs. Wade. It is nobody’s decision but the woman making the decision. I don’t think we should be forcing women to keep babies when some girls are getting pregnant at the age of 14 years old these days. Most of these women do not have the knowledge or much needed motherly instinct to successfully raise a child in these times. Although I believe religion is simply something that people turn to when they have nowhere left to go and nobody left to turn to, religion and religious views should stand back and look at the big picture and take note of the problems in society due to crimina...
Abortion is a very controversial topic and when it comes to this issue they should be at happy medium place where everybody could be OK with the idea. I understand both views, which is why I cannot just choose one side over the other because each side have valid points. Each situation is different for each person so we cannot make a decision based on how a group of people feels. In conclusion I believe that only have the right to choose what she feels like is best for her to do, but I also believe in taking accountability and understanding that there 's always going to be a reaction to every action
There are several different perspectives on weather abortion is right or wrong. It often becomes a controversy. One way of arguing it is with Kerby Anderson’s “A Biblical View of Abortion.” Another is with Richard J. Hardy’s “The Right to Choose.” And lastly is Rachel’s, an anonymous writer from msngroups.com, “Abortion the Murder of Innocence.” Each of theses controversial articles are to objectively present different view or perspectives of abortion.
No doubt, abortion is a highly controversial subject able to evoke highly charged emotions on both sides of the issue. Yet, it is my firm belief that abortion is a woman's right that needs to be preserved. Women who opt to have an abortion will do it for different reasons based on their individual circumstances. A child should bring joy and happiness for a family, welcomed into a world of love and warmth. Unwanted pregnancies only create an environment of neglect for the baby by parents that were not prepared for such a big step in life in the first place. It is a woman's right to decide what to do with her body and life. Taking away Roe v. Wade and abortion rights is taking away a woman's right to self-governance, her right to choose what to do to her body.
... who are not ready to take on the challenges and responsibilities of raising children. To have millions of poor, homeless and unhappy children in the world to cope with life’s injustices would be far more heartbreaking than extracting an embryo from a uterus. Abortion is a very complex issue that should remain a personal decision. The bottom line is that each woman should make her own decision based on her own morals and beliefs.
I believe that if a woman wants to get an abortion, then the women should have the choice. I think that if the woman wants to get an abortion, she must have a good reason to get one. It could be for medical reasons, or for the fact that she is a teenage mother and cannot take care of the baby. I think that there is already to many homeless children out there, and by banning abortions, we are just adding to the number of homeless children. It should be the mothers choice, and the mothers choice only. Not the choice of politicians who think that they know what is right for women when they have never had to make that sort of decision.
Abortion is one of America’s most controversial subjects. The participants in this debate have fixed beliefs on the matter at hand. On one side of the debate are people who believe in pro- choice. They argue that choice of a woman is more important than an unborn fetus. They point out that an unborn child is not on the same level of importance as the mother. Also, the pro-life group declares that choice is the sole purpose behind their argument. They believe that if a woman cannot chose to abolish a pregnancy, then she looses one of her basic human rights. The other side of the debate is the pro-life group. Their main concern is that the fetus is a person; therefore, having the same human rights as the mother. As a result, when states pass laws that enable abortions, these states are legalizing murder. When considering an individual’s ethics and values, killing is morally wrong. Therefore, the termination of unborn children is wrong, as well. Abortion, the unethical expulsion of an embryo or fetus, in order to purposely end a pregnancy, should be forbidden because human life begins at conception, economics is not a justification for abortion, and an unwanted child does not justify abortion.
I believe that the government should not be able to control what a woman does with her body. By granting women the right to choose, this does not permit her to kill, but to decide what is best for all persons involved. There are many situations that show that abortion may be the best for the parents and the unborn child. Situations such as rape or incest prove that it is not the woman’s fault and not fair to the mother or the unborn child to pay for it. There are other situations such as if the mother carries a disease the can be passed on, or if the parents are unfit to raise a family at the time. Any case however, should be between the people involved and not the government.
In my argumentative coursework I am arguing that abortion is wrong and not to be mistaken with 'Abortion should be made illegal.' I will explain later why I have made this statement. Abortion is the termination of an unborn child in its mother's womb for up to twenty four weeks of the pregnancy or in special circumstances e.g. Disability diagnosis a termination right up until the mother goes in to labour. I think the above definition is an easier and less harsh way of saying that abortion is the murdering of a human being. There are several reasons why abortion is legal and several reasons why it shouldn?t be.
A person being pregnant and wishing they weren't is probably the worst feelings a woman can have. A women knowing that if they brought a child into the world and they didn't want it, or they would have to give it up for adoption is such a disheartening way to start off, and mother and the un-born child would be so much better off if they were to terminate the pregnancy and wait for a more appropriate time, or in the case of rape, put the past behind them and move on. Women should have the choice because not everyone knows what the situation was. In today’s society people have attached shame with the word abortion. When people hear of abortions they automatically assume it was the mothers fault and she didn’t use protection or may...
In my Opinion, abortion violates a person’s right to life. No one have right to play with another life. If a woman chooses to have sex, she is doing in her own
