Adolf Hitler came into power of Germany in 1934. Wanting power, land and revenge, Hitler gets troops ready to attack. Hitler was a troop in WWI for Germany. Once the Germans lost the war, Hitler took that personally, and wanted revenge. After coming into power with his army of Nazis, Hitler is quick to blame Jewish people for all the harsh debt and corruption in Germany. The Germans believe him, causing them to hate Jewish people. The holocaust happened throughout 1933-1945, it ended when Hitler killed himself.
Most can agree that one of the biggest catastrophes in the world. Though no one bothers to ask who was responsible. The most common response is that Hitler was the perpetrator, which is true to a degree but the responsibility isn't his and only his. There were many chances for people to help Jewish people in their time of need but nothing was done. It’s easy to say that measures should have been taken to protects the Jews though when it came to act on them many were bystanders. Many of these bystanders unfortunately included Americans, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Jewish people themselves and lastly the Germans.
In total forty million people died in this massacre. The first people rounded up were the Trotskyites. This massacre matters because forty innocent million people died. Just like what Hitler but Stalin didn’t like Hitler but he did the same thing as hitler but the only difference was that Stalin killed his own people. The people that Stalin they could’ve done some good for the world and they could’ve changed how we thought as humans. But we will never know now because these innocent people are killed. The Holocaust ended 70 years ago, it involved over 11 million deaths. Hitler blamed all Jews for everything wrong with Germany. The Holocaust was the mass murder of six million Jews and millions of others by the Nazis. They were taken to concentration camps where they were treated like animals. Before the concentration camps, their human rights were taken, and also making them wear gold stars to identify the Jews better and faster. The Jews were taken from camp to camp until they finally arrived to the deadliest camp of them all, Auschwitz. The Holocaust also lasted 12 years from January of 1933 to May 8 of 1945. Hitler and Stalin will probably go down in history as two of the greatest known evil leaders of the 20th Century. What could bring two men to become the menaces they were? These two men were very demanding in obtaining what they thought should be the rule of a nation by their own personal control. Stalin and Hitler were very close in the same way that they had an aggressive vigor to force a type of commanding dictatorship into their respective countries. Each had a special army that they put in high regard politically to where they were considered special police agents. These armies were under different orders, but their main objectives were to stop anyone who opposed, or were thought to be in opposition to the head of state. Also, both Stalin and Hitler had ideas to improve the education levels and economic prosperity of their own countries, each trying to put their own at the top of the world in industry and commerce. Although Hitler and Stalin were opposed to each other’s own strategies and political stance on being a world dominator, they were very similar in the way to which they fought for political power.
Therefore, it is evident that both Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin shared many commonalities in their political careers, whether it be through their similar beginnings, their punishments received, their climbing of the political ranks or their rather paralleled final and very successful attempts of becoming dictators in their own rights. It is subsequently quite clear that the paths to power of Hitler and Stalin are quite notably similar.
Although it is said that Stalin was one of the men who greatly influenced the 20th century, it is also agreed that his contributions to the world and his country came at an appalling cost. Stalin’s ruthless ambition, consuming paranoia, and callous disregard for human life will mark him down as one of the most inhumane, savage leaders in history.
Much like Adolph Hitler, Joseph Stalin was one of the most ruthless and despised people in the recorded history of the world. Stalin though his policies found it fit to abused his people in any way he saw fit. This man started what history now calls "The Great Purges."
While both the Soviets and the Nazis committed horrible acts against minorities, the Nazis acted worse (but only by a little bit) Both countries sent Jews, the mentally ill, and other groups to labor camps to die. The killing of these innocent people was justified as "the good of the country." The Utopia that each country's leaders sought after was to be accomplished by washing the country with the blood of millions.
