In Romeo and Juliet, this brings about Romeo’s exile from Verona. If Romeo had not been exiled from Verona, he would have heard of Friar Lawrence’s plan to keep Juliet from getting married. If he had known of the plan, he would not have gone to the vault and killed himself over what he thought was Juliet’s dead body.

In the story “ The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet “ the main characters get themselves in a pickle by falling in love knowing that their families are sworn enemies. Soon Romeo kills Juliet's cousin by accident, Juliet drinks a potion, some words get twisted and at the end both of the lovebirds end up dead. At the end of the story both families are devastated that both of their children pass away, but there are also many unanswered questions. The most asked question in the story is “ Who's to blame? ” and overall I believe everyone has a little part in influencing their death, but I believe that one person is to blame for most of this and I believe that it is the mother and father of Juliet.

In William Shakespeare's play, The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, Friar Lawrence gives Juliet a fake poison and when she takes it, she goes into a deep sleep that makes her appear dead. Juliet is then buried in her family's tomb and when Romeo goes to the tomb, he drinks actual poison and kills himself because he cannot bear to be without Juliet.
Because of the time this play was written, people would have strongly believed in bad luck and fate, but the characters were equally to blame. It was just a question of which one is to blame the most for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. First of all, Romeo could be most to blame for the deaths of himself and Juliet, he asked Juliet to marry him when he hardly knew her. Romeo declared his love for her and went to friar Lawrence and asked the friar if he would marry them, Romeo says "Then plainly know my hearts dear love is set, on the fair daughter of rich Capulet, by holy marriage, when, where and how, we met, we woo'd and make exchange of vow. " If Romeo had restrained himself from killing Tybalt, or waited a day before killing himself after hearing about Juliet's death, it might have ended happily, and if Romeo didn't have such deep feelings, his love with Juliet wouldn't have existed in the first place.
Of all the things that occur in Romeo and Juliet, the death of Tybalt is one of the most climatic parts of the story. Yet, this all started from another killing of a different person, Mercutio. Mercutio, a relative of the Prince and friend of Romeo, and Tybalt, nephew to Lady Capulet and Mercutio’s arch enemy, were in a heated conversion when Romeo walked in after getting married to Juliet and saw what was going on. Tybalt and Mercutio began to fight and Romeo tried to come in between them to stop the whole thing. Unfortunately, as Tybalt was under Romeo’s arms, he stabbed Mercutio and he died soon after. In all the rage, Romeo was furious that his friend was dead and starts to fight with Tybalt. Eventually, Romeo slays Tybalt and he falls to the floor and dies. Romeo runs away in agony before the Prince soon arrives at the scene of the fight with all the other citizens that were awakened by this fray to see what happened. Although Romeo is guilty of homicide, he is charged for manslaughter as he unlawfully killed a person in the heat of passion while defending Mercutio’s honor.
William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is an action-packed play and has 3 main characters that can be blamed for the deaths, Tybalt, Capulet and Friar Lawrence. Tybalt’s aggressive and defensive behaviour caused him to be a point of blame in the deaths and made him responsible for his own death. Unsupportive and selfish behaviour causes Juliet’s’ father Capulet to be responsible.
Tybalt did not take a direct role in Juliet’s ‘death’, but he set the course for incidents that lead to it. As a Capulet, he had long participated in the feud between his family and the Montagues. The day after he spotted Romeo at a party hosted by his family, he went out looking for him – and a fight. He accidentally murdered Mercutio, Romeo later killed him in revenge. Juliet, rather than being upset by Tybalt’s death, sobbed for Romeo, who was banished for the murder. The misunderstandings regarding Juliet’s grief led to a marriage she felt she could only escape by faking her own death. While Tybalt was not immediately involved in Juliet’s ‘death’, he played such a major role in starting the events that would ultimately lead to it that he must be deemed partly responsible.
Romeo’s decision to kill Tybalt is an example of Romeo’s irrationalism because the fight could have been avoided. Furthermore, this fight banished Romeo from Verona which resulted in many more situations which all led to the death of Romeo and Juliet. Next, when Romeo drank the poison next to Juliet, he was very quick to act. This terrible decision killed Romeo himself, and once Juliet woke up, she was also quick to stab herself, causing her to quickly die. Lastly, Friar Lawrence did not properly think through his plan to give Juliet the potion which would mimic her death because the message to Romeo did not arrive, causing Romeo to kill himself. In conclusion, these characters are held responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet instead of
Tybalt was a adversary of Romeo and had the drift to kill him. His spleen of the situation is Romeo trying to love his coz Juliet. He approached Romeo and Mercutio looking for a fight. Tybalt and Mercutio ended up fighting and Tybalt killed Mercutio, because Tybalt did this, he deserved the death penalty for his transgression. Romeo then took revenge and killed him (3.1.70). This is a legal issue because Tybalt was going to be treated to the death penalty anyway so Romeo killing him was just like giving him the death penalty. This death is a lot different than the others because his was a legal issue and he deserved to die, the other deaths in the play like Romeo, Juliet and Mercutio decided to die for a family member that they love.
