Who Is To Blame For Romeo And Juliet's Death

Imagine having the honor to love someone and have someone love you so much, they'd die for you. Well in The tragedy of Romeo and Juliet written by William shakespeare, that is exactly what happens. Two star crossed lovers take their own lives due to the actions of, Friar lawrence and the two lovers themselves, Juliet and her Romeo. The actions that played a big a big part in the lovers death are, Romeo kills Juliet's cousin, Friar failing to deliver the letter to Romeo, and Juliet begging Friar lawrence to come up with and elaborate plan to get out of her marriage with Paris.
Romeo the boy of the montague household, is one of the three at fault for the 2 lovers tragic death. Romeo out of rage kills tybalt, the cousin to juliet. Most likely

knowing the consequence to his actions Romeo is banished causing Juliet and Friar Lawrence to come up with an elaborate plan to have the lovers see each other again. Romeo says… “In my behalf- my reputation stained with tybalt's slander. O, I am fortune's fool” (3.1.29) This text evidence is showing that Romeo acknowledges what he did and knowing that there will be consequences.
Next is Juliet who also is accountable for the situation. Juliet desperately asks the Friar to come up with an elaborate that is bound to fail from the beginning, so Juliet and Romeo can be together due to Romeo's banishment. Some of Juliet's words to the Friar are…”O bid me leap rather than marry Paris...And hide me with a dead man in his shroud” (4.1.77-85) This textual
evidence from the play shows just how much Juliet despises Paris, She explains that she would rather do all of these crazy things than marry Paris.
And last but not least, Friar Lawrence. As I see it, Friar Lawrence played the biggest part in their deaths. The friar comes up with a crazy plan doomed to fail from the beginning. First off Friar gives Juliet the poison before delivering the letter to romeo. I think that was a huge mistake. In my text evidence the Friar says “Take this vial. Being then in bed...The roses in thy lips and cheeks shall fade” (4.1.93-99) “Shall Romeo by my letter know our drifts.” (4.1.114) This text evidence shows that friar gives Juliet the potion before getting the letter to Romeo, which he should have done first.
Some may say true love is a myth, or faith is just a fantasy, but in The tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, that is proven to be wrong. The story of two teenagers indefinitely in love taking their own lives to be together for eternity shows true love is genuine.
