Othello is a play that was during 1500’s by William Shakespeare. The important characters in this play is Othello, the muslim and dark skinned men that loves Desdemona, the catholic and light skinned women. Everyone was against their love because they are different from each other, but they have faced every obstacle to be together. Also Iago that hates Othello to death for no reason and want to destroy him and he has been using Cassio that was working with Othello and was his friend to destroy Othello by making him think that Desdemona is cheating on him with Cassio. In this play Iago is the devil that manipulate Othello to kill Desdemona. He had been using pathos, logos, word choice, and imagery to start the first step in destroying Othello that led him in the end to kill his love and himself. …show more content…

Othello was thinking normally until Iago started to use pathos to make him think that she is cheating on him. He was using emotions to make Othello believe him and he used a thing that is full with emotions to manipulate him, the handkerchief that was a gift from Othello’s mother to him and Iago stole it and told Othello that Desdemona gave it to Cassio and this thing made Othello so angry. He also told him that Cassio had a dream and it was about Desdemona and Cassio together. This is affective because on that time Othello started to believe that Desdemona is cheating on him and he started to be abnormal. ‘’I’ll tear her all to pieces!’’ (3.3 40-41) He was crazy that he wants to kill Desdemona and
