He wrote the well known The Great Gatsby as well as other novels including The Beautiful and the Damned and This Side of Paradise. Not only did he develop great fame during his time as an author, but he has also set the fundamentals for writers today and readers in general who have read his classic writing masterpieces. My character Josephine Baker and F. Scott Fitzgerald got very well along seeing that they were good friends and Baker influenced the character of Jordan Baker from his successful novel The Great Gatsby.

Overall, Fitzgerald originally creates a shallow and superficial character that I had little respect for. Through the progression of the novel, his use of narration, the theme of the corrupt American dream and his writing style a deeper, more admirable character develops. Gatsby died an admirable man and F. Scott Fitzgerald creates the growth of admiration excellently thought his novel, “The Great Gatsby.”
