What makes a good film ? That's a question I'm sure every director and producer would like to know , there are a lot of factors that make a good film. For a good film to be made all these factors have to fit together like puzzle pieces and eventually create the finished picture.

For me there are 3 factors that influence the film and make a film come together, before I tell you the 3 factors I want to tell you about my favorite film and a accurate example of where the 3 factors could be found.

The script is also an indication of the budget for the film the equipment needed and the amount of crew needed.

The second factor is good acting, this is why actors get paid the big bucks , a actor who can deliver a line with emotion and soul can bring the whole movie together, a actor or actress you can relate to can make you fall in love with the movie. It's been said that if your going to spend money, spend it on what's going to come on screen, good actors are a key example of that.

And finally the third factor is overall good production. There are many things that fall under good production such as lighting, sound and movement. All of these make a huge difference, imagine having a scene in a movie where it's dark and the whole sene you can't see the character face , that's where the lighting comes in , the lighting makes sure you can see the character face but also ensures that it still looks dark outside.

Every little thing contributes to a good production, image you have a excellent script but poor sound and you can't hear a thing the person says , see everything compliments another
