Abstract
Water pollution is a serious problem for the whole world. It threatens the health, humans, plants, and animals. As the world became more industrial and smaller due to communications and trade, unplanned and dangerous dumping has contributed to the problem of sea pollution. All water pollution is dangerous to the health of living organisms, but sea and river pollution can be especially harmful to the health of humans and animals. Rivers and seas are used as main sources of clean water by populations all over the world. Another serious result of this pollution is the effect of this pollution on trade in the polluted areas.

It threatens the health, humans, plants, and animals. All water pollution is dangerous to the health of living organisms, but sea and river pollution can be especially harmful to the health of humans and animals. Rivers and seas are used as main sources of potable water by populations all over the world. Another serious result of this pollution is the effect of this pollution on trade in the polluted areas. This research studies cases which reflect different causes of sea and river pollution, how serious the pollution is and the effect of this pollution on trade, and the possible solutions applied by people and governments to this problem.
What is water pollution?
Water pollution is the infection of water bodies (e.g. lakes, rivers, oceans and groundwater), usually by human activities. Water pollution occurs when pollutants are discharged directly or indirectly into water bodies without treatment to get rid of harmful substances. Pollutants are usually dropped into water by humans.
The water pollution problem:
Water covers over 70% of the Earth’s surface. It is an essential resource for living organisms and the environment. Water pollution affects drinking water, rivers, lakes and oceans all over the world. In many countries, it is usually a leading cause of death, when people drank from the polluted sources of

Chemical Water Pollution
Many industries and farmers work with chemicals that are dumped into water. These include chemicals that are used to control weeds, insects and pests. Metals and solvents from industries can pollute the sources of water. These chemicals are poisonous to the living organisms in water and may slow their growth, make them sterile and can kill them.
8. Oil Spillage
Oil spills usually have only a limited effect on the environment but can spread for miles. The oil can cause the death of many fish and can be attached to the feathers of seabirds which lead to loss of their ability to fly.
Effects of water pollution:
Water pollution is very harmful to humans, animals and water life. The effects can be catastrophic, depending on the kind of chemicals, concentrations of the pollutants and where the sources of water are polluted. Below, we will discuss a summary of some effects of water pollution.
1. Death of aquatic animals
The main problem caused by water pollution is that it kills life that depends on these water living organisms. Dead fish, crabs, birds and sea gulls, dolphins, and many other animals are found on beaches, killed by
Today pollution is very high in both inland and marine waters. All different types of water pollution are contributing factors in this problem. Here are some things that are associated with pollution: Pathogens: Pathogens are disease causing bacteria, viruses, and protozoa. They usually come from human sewage. As pathogen numbers increase, so does the risk of human health.
Water pollution is a very serious problem as it affects one of the most essential ingredients to our very livelihood. The earth is covered in water, in fact about 70% of the Earth is covered in water, only
'Water pollution is any chemical, physical or biological change in the quality of water that has a harmful effect on any living thing that drinks or uses or lives(in) it. ' (Azeem 1). In Canada, most people live in the southern part along with many agricultural and industrial activities causing the worst cases of water pollution. Water pollution is caused by population growth and industrialization, but can be prevented if proper controls are taken into consideration to help reduce the discharge of waste materials. Water pollution has been a huge disadvantaging concern for humans as well as wildlife for over many decades, but can actually be prevented if attempted. Preventing waste materials from being dumped into lakes and rivers, controlling
Ocean Pollution is a serious issue in today's global politics. The delicate balance of Earth's ecosystem is put in jeopardy when the ocean is not clean. Problem evolving from ocean pollution directly harm marine life and indirectly affect human health and the Earth's many valuable resources. Ocean Pollution is a Broad term that encpompasses any and all foregin matter that directly or indirectly makes its way into the ocean. This includes everything from the extreme: oil spills, Toxic Waste dumping and industrial dumping-- to the small scael: human activities and basic carelessness. Because the oceans and all other water bodies are invariably, somehow connected, and because they account for 3/4 of the Earth's surface, they are an ideal method of transportation for pollution, allowing the rapid spread of seemingly far away toxins into a river near you! It is increasingly important that we educate ourselves as to what, exactly, ocean pollution is, so that we can identify the causes at their source and take action in small and large ways, and hopefully, prevent this terrible form of pollution from getting any worse than it is today.

Water pollution has had devastating effects on the environment, which include irreversible effects on the oceans ecosystem. People often underestimate the importance of the ocean. They don’t realize how much damage pollution has caused to the ocean and the thousands of creatures that inhabit it. Earth is a huge place, but resources are actually very limited and will not last forever unless there is a balance. We must protect the resources we have in order for them to last into the next generation.
spill. The long-term effects are much worse and deathly. Oil is capable of building up in the food chain to lethal levels, and destroying or disrupting an area's ecosystem. Seabirds including puffins, shearwaters, razorbills, and many more are frequently affected by offshore oil spills. These birds live mainly on open water, however; they can also become oiled in coastal waters since they come to coastal islands to breed. Spills can also severely harm tu...
Pollution is a serious issue that should be taken into consideration. Many people think that pollution doesn’t hurt them so they throw garbage on the ground, indeed they are destroying our Earth and also harming themselves. Pollution refers to the introduction of harmful substance and product in the environment. Nowadays, our planet is suffering from many types of pollution, for instance, the main types are water, air, and soil pollution. Moreover there are various sources that cause pollution. Ocean pollution is the unseen tragic that leads to thousands of marine species death, which increased because of the massive amount of oil spills, chemicals, industrial waste, and sewage. In consequently ocean pollution affects human beings' health and
By the oceans being polluted not only are animals affected humans are too. What some people don't know is that they are killing of and disturbing offspring by polluting waters. "Ocean pollution results in smaller catches of fish all over the world, either by killing fish directly, preventing them from breeding, or causing birth abnormalities. Seabirds are unable to breed and whales are poisoned. Pollution also seems to be responsible for a new disease among seals. Without even swallowed, plastic can kill seabirds, turtles, and other creatures by trapping them. People drinking water from polluted seas can become sick. Deadly infectious diseases like cholera and typhoid can break out." There are many different types of sizes of plankton everywhere in our ocean waters.

Water Pollution is a current issue that has serious consequences; it progresses everyday in our lakes, oceans, rivers and other bodies of water.
Water pollution has affected many people and animals. Water pollution is the disposal of garbage into a water stream. Some of the water pollution is from littering, some water pollution is done by chemical leaks, and others by ships. Also, There is much information about water pollution.
And we depend on water to survive. Weather its consuming it or using it for our daily tasks. Trash that makes it way into the ocean decomposes very slow and causes so much harm to creatures that mistake it as food. Not only does this effects the creatures in the sea but it also contaminates the drinking water we drink. There are many effects with drinking contaminated drinking water. Diseases like hepatitis, dysentery and cancer are all results from drinking contaminated water. There are many ways to fix this water pollution problem for example in the article “Study on water pollution causes and prevention of Jiangsu rural areas.” Written by Chen Ming, Xu Chang-xin says “through strengthening the legal construction, increasing the input of environmental protection, and developing ecological agriculture, we can protect the safety of drinking water”. Another way we can reduce the water pollution is to stop throwing litter into water sources and to clean up trash that we see near bodies of
Water pollution is also a major thing in the world because almost 60% of it is fishes. It occurs due to several factors; the industrial waste dumped into the rivers and other water body’s cause am imbalance in the water leading to its severe contamination and deaths. And the infamous Global warming is the emission of greenhouse gases particularly CO2 is leading to global warming.
Water pollution increases the plethora of MOSS in water and it also reduces the level of oxygen in it. According to a survey in most of the rivers the amount of oxygen in a litre of water has decreased to 0.1 cubic centimetre only, while the this average in 1940 was around 2.5 cubic centimetre. Different varieties of fish are the most affected creatures due to water pollution. Contaminated water is not suitable for drinking and even for agriculture purposes. Water pollution is also responsible for destroying the beauty of the lakes and rivers. Also contaminated water negatively impacts, or even eliminates the breeding power of the aquatic life. Moreover, aquatic plants get severely affected due to water pollution. It has been observed that Algae starts to erupt faster. Also the animals falls prey to a variety of diseases due to drinking polluted
