The Red Pyramid is a fantasy adventure novel based on Egyptian mythology written by Rick Riodan and it is the first book in the Kane Chronicles trilogy. This book is not only based on ancient Egyptian mythology but it is also set mainly in Egypt and involves ancient Egyptian magic. A colour that would sum up the whole book with would have to be red. This is because of the location that the book is set in, which is Egypt and everything is described as red or yellow due to its sandy and hot atmosphere.
