The song I choose is Rockstar by Hannah Montana. The song talks about how Hannah wants to get a boys attention but he dosent seem to care. Only if he knew that she is so much more than what is on the outside he could see that she is an amazing person. It talks about how Hannah is not just what people percieve her as, she could be anything… even a rockstar.
This song brings back happy memories of me and my sister. Sense i didnt see her much growing up, whenever we saw each other we would dance parties and my mom would paint our nails. This was our favorite song and we would play it over and over until everyone would get annoyed. It was a lot of fun and we still play this song sometimes when we see eachother now, its like a little memory of our childhood. Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOHAogvC6c4

They both involve a great amount of imagination and creativity. Literature and music are related through the importance that structure and appeal they have in both fields. Music needs to make an audience feel a certain way to have a desired effect on someone and so does literture.many of the music we hear today was greatly influenced by literature or has parts in
Art is always a highly debated topic. What is art? What is artistic? Which is better poem or song? Music and poetry are both great ways to express artistic passion, and each have something a little different to from the other.
My first song I´ve chosen is Sean McGee, song titled My Story. Mainly the song is about him facing different struggles, obstacles, and all the horrible things and situations he´s been in throughout his life. I can connect to this song and the lyrics for many reasons. One of his lines were ¨Do you know how it feels to be left out in the rain¨? And I have faced times like this when I feel like no one is there or have my back, and in the line he´s trying express how it feels to have nobody and be all alone. Also throughout this song he expresses how everyday you wake up your face with something rather it's just a minor issue or something that will greatly impact your life.
Another song that I thought a lot about when I heard it was "Grandpa was a Carpenter." I remember a lot about my grandpa and just like in the song Grandpa and me used to do everything together when I was little, and when he got sick, I didn't really understand what was happening because I was so little. I remember how as I got older he couldn't do much anymore.
Whenever I play this song, I can’t help but remember my childhood. My parents struggled financially but, that was never an excuse for them. They always took my brothers and I out on small adventures. One of the most memorable memories I get when I play this song is when my parents would take us out to park to have a barbecue, while my brothers and I ran through the park till we became tired and hungry. Whenever I need a break from the world, I listen to this song just to remind myself of those special moments, even though those days won’t ever return, they are memories I will always treasure.
As a precursor, the common understanding needs to be reached that: literature is an art, and has many mediums. Medium is the material or technique with which an artist works (Dictionary.com), for example: photographs, pastels, canvas, paper, ink, etc... There are technical, recreational, and otherwise artistic uses for all mediums. A small child taking pictures of a puppy with a disposable camera, a reporter taking precise pictures of a sporting event, and an artist taking close-up pictures of the dew as it drips off a tree are all different uses of the same medium in photography. Literature can be created with many different intentions and reasons, but the attempt to determine that something is not art based off of the motivation or intentions of the artist is quit meaningless.
Literature throughout history has evolved due to events occurring during those times. It has changed in a deductive fashion going from creator to creation. In the early times Native Americans wrote myths of how the world had been created, next Puritans wrote of the drama in their communities and how they affected with each other, finally, transcendentalism focused on a singular person's ideas and point of view. It is important to be able to understand all levels of life from broad ideas to a singular person. Understanding not only how the world works but also how to get along with others and who you are as a person is crucial in this society. Literature from many time periods all attribute to these subjects. Literature
Now music and life are bound up with each other, enough to be called an inextricable connection. Music has been developed by following the human society, and its developmental steps are very similar to the growth of ideology. For example, one concept became a major of society, and then another concept tried to be against the major. In other words, music has many different genres because of the number of major influences such as the Great Depression and technological advances. African-Americans had massive influences on the musical genre.
The song I chose for this essay is “don’t blink” by Kenny Chesney. It reminds you of how fast you can get through something without even realizing it’s there. Like school, you remember all the years and how long they took to get over with. Now as a senior everything looks as if it flew by so fast and all the memories really make you sad. But you need to look on the positive side. There will always be more fun times and probably better memories. But you should always enjoy life as it is no matter the circumstances.
For my song, I chose Fifteen by Taylor Swift. This is a very touching song, it talks about freshman year of high school, finding your first love and then they use you and don't love you back. The overall mood of this song is remorse. The persona of Taylor is that of a new freshman. Taylor uses figurative language such as “your head spin around”, “gave everything she had”, “look before you fall”, “time can heal most anything”, “feeling like flying”, and “Feeling like there's nothing to figure out”. Taylor is comparing a first kiss to a spinning head, and flying to a first date. Her figurative language enhanced the song because it made you feel how the person felt. ** The overall message of Fifteen is “look before you leap”, or, in Taylor’s words,
Since the earliest days of human civilization music has been a key tool for communication of stories which carried emotions through them. If we think back to our youngest years of life music has surrounded us whether it was from our parents singing us lullabies or from some sort of toy that played music we can say that musical melodies have helped shape or lives one way or another. Once we start growing up and figuring out who we are our musical preferences change; some people like classical and some like punk. We start to befriend people who like the same music as us and eventually we may attend a musical event. Our lives somewhat revolve around the music that we listen to.

I grew up in a very musical environment, as both my parents played guitar and/or blasted their music frequently throughout the house. I often hear songs in public and am taken to a memory of my mom singing it. One of the first songs I remember hearing is Boots of Spanish Leather by Bob Dylan. My mom used to play this song on her guitar all the time and it became a large part of my childhood memory. Whenever I listen to this song I think back to when I was younger and I often get a wave of nostalgia reminiscing of the past.
life lessons in just this one song. An example is when she sings… (Hannah Montana Lyrics). Hannah tells people to never give up. Just because something does not turn out the right way, does not mean give up on the challenge. To be stronger and smarter, people have to work through times and keep a positive outlook on the situation. Another important part
Literature is creative writing of recognized artistic value. Literature represents the very best of human expression. We read and celebrate Literature for many reasons. A few of these reasons are,- to be inspired, to be delighted, to embark on incredible ventures and others.
As it played on the radio, I would constantly change it because who wants to listen to a song that is correlated with sadness and death? About a month later, after I was introduced to this song, a tragic event occurred in my life. My friend ended up getting in an accident and passing away which left everyone devastated. The feeling of grief just swept over all of the people in St. Bernard Parish. During the funeral, the family had to decide a song to play with the slideshow, and of course, his family chose “See You Again.”
