Introduction
According to P. Venkata Laxma Reddy et al., (2014), In fact, it is roughly estimated that around 500 compounds have been registered globally as pesticides or their metabolites. Thus, pesticide products are documented as amongst the most hazardous substances invented by humankind, as substance that gives exacerbating deleterious effects. Based on reported in the scientific literature, the effects of fertilizers and pesticides are to say the least variable, it became clear evidence that certain product can have significant impacts, whether the effect can be positive or negative.
Positive effects of fertilizer and pesticide onto soil Pesticide and fertilizer serve many functions which are more essential to the society; there is

The chemical fertilizers and pesticides have effects on the soil organisms that are similar to human overuse of antibiotics. According to the soil scientist Dr. Elaine Ingham, she said that “If we lose both bacteria and fungi, then the soil degrades”. It meaning that some plants depends on a variety of soil microorganism to transform atmospheric nitrogen into nitrates, which plants can use. For example Toxic effects of high concentration of ammonia fertilizer on soil organism applied have been the potential damage to soil organism generally one issue to grower because some bacteria living inside the soil surface provides potential benefit for cropping. If chemical fertilizer unprofessional conduct used, it will affect to earthworm as a beneficial soil organism resulting in the loss an important actor playing the vital role as decomposer of land and cause loss of the land nutrient or organic matters effect for the soil loss of fertility.

The book starts with a foreword that highlights the motivation for having written the book. The book has a table of contents organized into seventeen chapters that highlight the different effect of the use of pesticides to the ecological system within the earth surface. The book is chronologically organized into chapters that flow and express a single idea for the writer. This organization has given the book much readability regarding the flow in its content and format to a

...ortation of plants, fruits, vegetables, and animals. Indiscriminate pesticide use kills the good with the bad. Long term and wide spread pesticide use poisons underground water sources, which, in turn, poison plants, animals, and humans. And, finally, by our uninformed actions, new super races of pests continue to evolve and create even greater dangers than the original.
With the world having so many people on it we use a lot of pesticides and fertilizers. If it was not for the help of these we would not have gotten to the place we are now. Pesticides and fertilizers do a lot more than just help grow and safe from pests. “Nearly 50% of the world labor is employed in agriculture and they significant risk”
As time has progressed, there has always been an overarching need for high amounts of crop production throughout the world. With the rapid rate of population growth, the need for crops and other sources of nutrients is only increasing. In order to meet these high demands and increase yields, farmers and other agriculturalists have started implementing the use of pesticides. These chemical mixtures are being used in order to prevent, destroy, repel or mitigate any pests from destroying growing crops. However, using pesticides on crops can create massive amounts of pollution, negatively affect an individual’s health, and can spark biodiversity loss within an ecosystem. According to Michael C.R. Alavanja, “Over 1 billion pounds of pesticides are used within the United States (US) each year and approximately 5.6 billion pounds are used worldwide”. With all this in mind, it is clear that pesticides should not be made available to farmers and agriculturalists, and should
For instance, pesticides used on household lawns are now proven to cause neurological disorders. These include depression, mania, learning disorders, A.D.H.D, immune system defects and memory problems. Instead of using pesticides in farming a better alternative would be biological control. This is when a natural predator is released into the crop growing area as a result the number of pests can be reduced.
Fertilizers are substances that enhance soil fertility and plant growth by providing the nutrients that the crop is deficient in. First used by ancient farmers, fertilizer technology developed significantly as the chemical needs of growing plants were discovered. Nowadays, fertilizers are used extensively all over the world as they play an important role on modern food production. Despite the numerous ways that fertilizers benefit the plants, misuse can cause problems and threaten the environment. For this reason, scientists are looking for ways to improve fertilizers to respond more effectively to plants’ and soils’ needs and minimize the impact to the environment.
Pesticides: So Efficient, They Kill the Environment Too. Pesticides may as well be classified as the single most common seasoning on our food today. Most of the food we eat is marinated with over one-billion tons of pesticides annually by farmers across the world (Alavanja). Their special blend helps kill or repel insects from eating crops, which preserves a ton of crops that would have died otherwise. The benefit of savings these crops are great in number: there is more food to go around, farmers can sell more crops, and the surplus of food drives down prices.
Pesticides are designed to kill something. In agriculture, pesticides are use to kill the organisms or compounds that feed in crops. For example, preventing the spread of bacterial, the growth of mould, to control mice and rats, and also kill the organisms that is not beneficial for the plant. Pesticides is very convenience to famers because it protect the crops and increase the harvests. But over using the pesticides will cause pollution to the enviromrnt and also the ecosystem. In our lives, pesticides also make us easier. For example, the use of pesticides in wood makes will makes our furniture last longer. And also our clothes, the pesticides are also been using in the wool to make our clothes as longer shelf life.
There are 2.5 billion pounds of pesticides being applied to agricultural products each year in the United States. This is ten times more than was applied forty years ago. It is still unknown as to what type of exact effects these chemicals may have on individuals. Some farmers that have been using pesticides in their fields and developed leukemia are finding that the cause of their disease is from inhaling pesticides. These chemicals are still in use today and most of them have never been tested for the short or long-term effects that they may have on humans.
The new chemicals which are produced to kill these strong pests and weeds may be more harmful to other plants and remove nutrients within the soil, in turn reducing the yield of agricultural crops. The benefits of these characteristics are seen in Argentina according to Pelletier (2010) as they use glyphosphate resistant soybean which allowed the comeback of this crop, as the soil was severely damaged from monoculture (The cultivation of a single crop in a defined area).... ... middle of paper ... ...
Biopesticides are those pesticides of that are obtained from natural materials like plants, and animals and some bacteria. chemical biopesticides and the excess amount of fertilizers used caused many problems on environment like soil fertility, water hardness , genetic variations in plants etc.(1) Very small quantities can be effective and they tend to break down more quickly, that cause a less pollution. (3) The developing country like in India the agriculture plays an important role, because to maintain our requirement and food it is necessary for Indian people. In our economy this is important to improving the use of biopesticides. To maintain these challenges, we should use the biopesticides and Biofertilizers in large quantity (4). Biopesticides products, compared to broad spectrum chemical pesticides, are usually more target specific and inherently less toxic which would cause less impact to other non-target species. These types of pesticides are uses in low application due to it decompose nature. It decomposes quickly in environment. Due to this we largely avoided the pollution problem that is caused by this type of pesticides.
Organic farming has mushroomed drastically in importance and influence worldwide from its modest beginnings in the first half of the last century. Organic farming is production of food and livestock without the use of herbicides, pesticides, weedicides, fertilizers or genetically modified organism and use natural resources such as manure and compost instead. In other words, it is a production system which maintains the quality of soil ecosystem as well as human beings. According to IOWA State University, “the chemicals were not used for farming before World War 2. A number of munitions used in farming have contributed to field of agriculture. For instance, ammonium nitrate used as ammonium nitrate fertilizer”.
The pesticide is a controversial topic since farmers are used it to gain their yield. Especially, pesticide is discovered during World War II as a chemical weapon that mixture of multiple chemicals together to kill human. Therefore, Chantries redesign pesticide to kill an organism where and when we don’t want it. Because people want to go to the grocery store to buy the perfect product, pesticide makes it happens and with a little cost for farmers. Nonetheless, pesticide also is the expenditure of life expectancy, which directly threatens people and poses risk of mortality rate. Abusing the pesticide has multiple affects on our society, (Add).
