Many people see suicide in many different ways. Two of the most common ways that I see suicide viewed as are from either the people that have wanted to, tried to, or came close to committing suicide; the other view are from those who are strictly against suicide. The people who are against suicide say many things that are not true. They say suicide is weakness. Suicide is a person who wants attention. Suicide is when a person feels sorry for themselves. While on the other hand people who have tried, wanted to, and do commit suicide. Suicide to them is a way out. Suicide is the way out of the darkness. Suicide is a way out of the misery and pain that they feel. Suicide is the end of all pain. The voices of the day come back to hunt her, to torment her through the pain and suffering that she endures everyday a new lie is spread, more vicious than the one before. The lies of her haters, the lies of the one that she used to love, she covers her ears but the voices still slip in spilling over slicing way through her head clear to her heart. There is no end to the pain, the torment, the hate, the darkness that eats away at her soul. She screams but like always there is no answer. Through the pain, the torment, the hate; through it all there is a voice, her voice the …show more content…
Suicide is the death of one’s body who has lost its soul a long time before. Suicide is a light at the end of a dark tunnel with no way out. Suicide is an end to the heartache and all their troubles. Suicide is not the killer, rumors are. Haters are the killer. Suicide is the one that everyone blames for the end of one’s own life that is taken by themselves, but it’s not. Suicide is when another has already cut apart everything that there is to a person until there is nothing more left of their soul, and the only thing that still exists is the body that has to be destroyed as well. Rumors are the real killer. Rumors fueled by the hatred of others made only to
My best friend committed suicide, at a young age, after having read a story, written in a local newspaper, in which suicide was portrayed as a heroic way to die. After he died, he was wrongly labeled as a person with mental issues. Was his suicide directly related to a mental illness? Was his directly related to the story in the newspaper?
Each and every single one of our lives should be thought of as a temple that will take control and live out a great life, without having negative thoughts towards living life. We are blessed to have the chance to live a life to the fullest, but there are sadly people out there who end up having different ideas. Suicide is an act of killing ones self and I find most people to be doing this horrible act because they either have serious depression or have some irrational thought that leads them to suicide.
Having the beliefs instilled in me by my family makes me see it as such regardless of the hardships the victim faced. I have come to this style also from the article “The Morality of Suicide” it brings in so much information on the subject and give great advice on suicide prevention methods. The bottom line is communication is key to saving lives. If more citizens had someone to just talk to them and not openly criticize them to the point where they feel like they aren’t wanted or welcomed on this earth there wouldn’t be nearly as many deaths. The victim also deserves some of the blame at the end of the day, no one forces anyone to kill themselves it is a conscious decision to kill yourself out guilt, pride or whatever the case may be. Our purpose on this earth is to strive and endure everything being thrown at us for the purpose of growing and learning
Suicide is the second leading cause of death in teens. Most teens commit suicide mainly because of bullying which pushes teens over the edge; because they believe what their peers say about them. Studies show that more teens are dying in this generation than any other generation due to suicide. Bullying is the biggest cause of teen suicide because it pushes people to believe that it is the only way out, makes people feel worthless, and causes the most mental problems in teens.
Imagine waking up every day tired, and drowsy. Having to go to school every day being pushed around and having other children make you feel like you’re worthless but you are actually feeling worthless, hopeless, and careless. You have no place where you can go and just be peaceful nowhere to go to just be free. At home there are problems, At school there are problems, everywhere u go u have that feeling of sadness, worthlessness, and hopelessness. Having those feeling of harming yourself to take the inside pain away and having thoughts about taking you life away. Suicidal teen’s feelings, what caused them to become suicidal, and how they overcome the feelings?
I'm about to take up a position which is going to be deamed by some, if not all, as a terrible stand to take. As a matter of fact, if anyone were to agree with me on ths subject, I'd be surprsed. For you see, rather than arguing from the postion of suicide being an unjustified and inane way to die, I shall argue the other point. That being suicide does have its merits.
Often times we hear about suicide and so many thoughts comes to our head, thoughts like “was it really that hard or was the person going through so much? For some people they feel it 's something that should be done when you feel the world is against you while for others they are totally against it, their morals don 't accept it neither do they think it 's really that bad in life to take your own life or allow a physician assist you in committing suicide because of excruciating pain and depression, often times we tend to forget how hard it 's going to be for the loved ones trying to understand why the person chose to take his/her own life , suicide has increased over the years and it 's difficult to know the exact reason. According to Befrienders,
I remember it was Sunday, the sun fading in the horizon. People was carrying on their regular lives. People coming home from work and kids hanging out on the streets with their friends. I was laying lazily on the couch, having to just finish dinner. The summer breeze drifted in through the windows as I wonder what should I do the next day.
Suicide, it's not pretty. For those of you who don't know what it is, it's the
Suicide is a much bigger problem than society will admit; the causes, methods, and prevention need to be discussed more openly. Committing suicide probably sounds like a foreign idea to most people, but to the people who think about it, they deal with it every day. More importantly, the question is what leads people to kill themselves? In general, most people do not want to actually kill themselves, even though many people joke about it on a daily basis. Being human, we all have a certain amount of will to live.
Many live due to the fear of death, many die due to the fear of living. Suicide is the act of ending one’s own life as a result of emotional and spiritual problems. Suicide, to some, is seen as a permanent escape. The Church itself argues against suicide. Life is borrowed and is not for one to just give away, God is the only one who can judge life. Suicide should not be committed because it infringes our relationship with others and ultimately God. Suicide is a selfish act all on its own.
Dr. Conclusion As we’ve seen in the research a holistic approach to preventing suicide is very effective. This prevention involves including the physical, mental and spiritual approaches together. It is an epidemic that disproportionately affects the LGBT+ but must be tailored to fit each individual. With the aid of professionals such as therapists, doctors, natural medicine practitioners, dieticians, and spiritual leaders a holistic program can be very effective in lifting depression and lower suicide rates.
Often times when I heard the word "suicidal" I was curiously caused the person to do it. Growing up, I heard that people decided to commit suicide was because they "wanted attention, they wanted the easy way out, they were weak, they couldn't handle life, etc." Personally, I have significant people in my life that have felt like they wanted to commit suicide. So, this topic honestly is a difficult, yet, emotional one to discuss.
A young, teenage girl sits with her friends, talking, laughing, and making jokes. She seems completely normal and happy, even. What people don’t know is that this is nothing but a mask covering the loneliness that seems to run through her veins, and the unexplainable sadness that never goes away. She fears speaking of it, of admitting the uncontrollable hatred she feels for everything about herself, so much that she contemplates ending it all. The fact is, suicide is the third leading cause for death in people under the age of twenty-five. Our country needs to stop seeing this as a casual thing. Depression, anxiety, and suicide in youth are real and serious issues that we need to be more aware of in today’s society.
Suicide is one of the most common death around the world. Life is just taking away very easy by someone or yourself. We have study the causes of someone killing themselves, but our human behavior can easy change and eventually make that deciduous. The causes and effects of suicide are depression, the past meaning your life before, and feeling unloved or lonely. The effects are the people that loved you are going to be depress, never reach those goals that you set for yourself, and people that loved you will feel the guilt.
