People express their feelings in many different ways. Singer and rappers express their feeling through song, poets express their feelings through there poetry, and artist express their feelings through their art. Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., better known by his stage name Lil Wayne, is a 33 year old American hip hop recording artist from New Orleans, Louisiana. Lil Wayne produce a political controversial rap song entitled “Georgia Bush” to criticize the way president George bush handled hurricane Katrina, the war in Iraq, and the way he was governing the country. Lil Wayne often expresses the way he feels through rap. When Hurricane Katrina stuck New Orleans August 29th of 2005, a lot of items were destroyed that he can never get back. Lil Wayne produced a song entitled “Georgia Bush” because he was very distraught about the outcome disaster of Hurricane Katrina. Lil Wayne was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He had family, and friends who died trying to save themselves. So much of his childhood memories were destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Lil Wayne decided to dedicate his song entitled “Georgia Bush” to the former president of the United State George W Bush, with the introduction saying “This song right here is dedicated to the president of the United States of America. Y 'all might know him as George Bush but where I 'm from, lost city of New Orleans we call him this: Georgia Bush. Not only did lil Wayne criticize the way that president George W Bush handle the hurricane Katrina disaster, he also criticize the way that he ran the country and was sending troops to fight in the war .
