Imagine that you have suffered through a hard day of work. Only earning 45 dollars for five hours of work, but it is worth it because you finally got what you have been wanting for months. Suddenly, you feel self-confidence, independence, and like you have developed life skills. For these reasons I believe that earning things are more rewarding than things that are granted. The first reason why I believe that earning something is more rewarding than it being granted is because you build self-confidence. Self-confidence is an important ability in terms of being successful. When you work as hard as humanly possibly and you finally get what you have wanted you gain this confidence. This inner strength may allow you to achieve your dreams or even the impossible. But not only does self-assurance help you achieve your dreams and the impossible, but in a large variety of ways such as becoming a merrier person. When you earn something, you are doing something by yourself and learning how to survive in this world. While if you are granted something, you are given something without any work and relying on others. As a result, you will struggle as an young adult.
