Earning my own money helps me realize how rewarding hard work is, but it also makes me much more wary about spending it. When I do spend it, I am more careful and cautious about what I buy and make sure
Daniel Pink looks at extrinsic motivation and explains why it is wrongly treated by people. He points out that this kind of motivation is all about stimulating people’s behavior, that can be made by rewarding it financially or punishing them for not achieving their goal. A famous quote by Jim Loehr says, "With confidence, you can reach truly amazing heights; Without confidence, even the simplest accomplishments are beyond your grasp." Confidence in yourself does not come without effort. One must believe in themselves, and not let someone change their beliefs. It is just amazing how helpful it just happens to be. However, the fact that I have a tendency to easily fall in anxiety does not make me neither an insecure, nor a self- pitied individual; instead, I do have very high rate of self-confidence and I can say I am generally happy with myself. Those who worry that they possess little worth or value may feel as if their contributions to others will never matter; subsequently, they choose not to even try. Moreover, less confident people often feel less secure because of unfair treatment received by them throughout their lives. This treatment could cause insecure people to lose trust in those around them, until giving seems pointless when they feel they will get nothing in return. On the other side, confident people may want to pass their confidence onto others by showing them generosity; when someone is shown generosity, they feel like someone cares for them which gives them confidence. Furthermore, confident people act more altruistically because they put less thought into themselves, for they feel confident enough that they never obsess over their own words, actions, and flaws like an insecure person would.

You would learn to budget and decide what would be an acceptable price and what is not worth buying. Considering the price more would be an effect of spending your own money. Most kids wouldn’t want to give their hard earned money up on an overly expensive toy. You would put more thought into the amount of money your spending and if its worth it or not. Having money of your own to spend would cause you to become m...
