Game farming us it good or is it horrible in this speech I will try and help you understand why game farming is helping to keep game from going extinct and the side that might also be hurting the game. First one of the reasons why game farming is great is that it helps keep the game healthy and disease free they do this by giving them extra feed and antibiotics when they are skinny and sick.this Is a big point because wildlife in certain areas are either overpopulated or underpopulated. In the overpopulated sections the game they're struggling to survive without enough feed which makes them move down to lower elevation and getting to the farmer's crop. But in the under populated sections the game is healthy but most likely they are over Hunted by predators. But in game farms they do not have any game starving. And the game is not getting into any farmers cropped. Also the game farms help by protecting the game from natural predators such as bears, wolves, mountain lions, coyotes this is just a quick overview of all the Predators that kill wildlife. …show more content…
And that land is often healthier because it is not being grazed on by cattle and it leads to more habitat for the game. Another controversy is that the game is often pinned up for the Hunter which there are circumstances where they do that but overall The Game Farm has the animals in their natural habitat for the hunters to go hunt. Game farms also help young Hunters get their foot in the door bye teaching them how to hunt and keeping them safer in a confined area where there aren't hundreds of
My dad and I go hunting every weekend during deer season which is from mid of Novmber to the first of Janurary. We go sit at 6:00am and we leave at 8:00am,but why we sit we will be wacthing birds and squirrals playing in the place we have corn they will eat it like deer does.We half to sit still were the deer can’t see us in the deer stand. When we go hunting you have to climb up in the deer stand and then sit patiertly to wait for something to come out of the woods. We look three or four different way in the stand.”My dad stated,” theres a deer.We go hunting in Pearson Georgia. When we go hunting we have to be careful because the gun could go off.It could be dangous going hunting by yourself. But if anything happen I can help him.Because we

Did you know that a cow harvested specifically for beef only lives up to 18 months? The average cow usually lives up to 18-25 years! Today I will talk to you about the cruelty and chemicals that goes into the beef you are buying from your local grocery store. Not that I am in any way a vegetarian or against eating meat, but it is important for you to be informed about what goes into the food that you are putting into your body. You only have one, after all.

Hunting demonstrates the ability to protect and provide mainly referred to males providing their families with meat from the animals and protecting their land. (“Modern Hunters Are Stewards of Wildlife and the Environment.”) The economy today is very unsustainable and hunting is the key to feeding the hungry. (“Modern Hunters Are Stewards of Wildlife and the Environment.”) There are many food banks today that will accept the meat provided by animals and feed hungry organizations that cannot buy food themselves. What most people don’t know is most of the money used by hunters that go towards hunting licenses, hunting tags, and hunting lotteries to hunt in particular spots go to wildlife research and habitat protections in that hunters home state. With approximately 12.5 million hunters in the World today a lot more money gets sent to these organizations than people would ever think. Overall, hunting is a positive force because it provides an economic motive for maintaining wildlife habitats. This keeps animals in their own habitats and away from people and their homes as much as possible. Some see this sport very cruel and un-humane but overall it is helping this World out way more than people think. If we didn’t have people who hunt or knew how to hunt we would be very reliant on other foods. Such as farming fruits and vegetables, which could go extinct if something devastating happens. We wouldn’t have the protein and vitamins needed in the meat we eat. Hunting is very necessary, and everyone should know how to hunt or learn soon. It’s helpful now, and will be very helpful in the future if there is a reason we can’t rely on cattle for meat anymore. We will have to figure out other ways to get meat, and without hunting it is very unlikely that
A United Nations report states that land used for animal agriculture, both for grazing and production of crops fed to livestock, takes up an astounding 30% of land on Earth. ("Meat Production Wastes Natural Resources") To meet the industry’s demands, over 260 million acres of forest in the U.S. have been cleared to grow grain fed to farm animals. ("Meat Production Wastes Natural Resources") With that in mind, the meat industry also dumps disease-causing pathogens through animal waste that pollutes water and forces the need for waste lagoons to be constructed, which are susceptible to leaking and flooding. ("Facts about Pollution from Livestock Farms”) Scientists say that about 14% of the world’s greenhouse gases are released by said agriculture industries, which is a growing concern for climate change and global warming. (Silverman) The meat industry uses one-third of all the fossil fuels consumed in the United States. (Moore) There is no question that farming animals has a negative effect on the environment and steps should be taken to mitigate air and water pollution risks and future deforestation. If animal agriculture was phased out, land used for animal grazing could be returned to forest land and some of it converted into fields for cultivating crops for humans. A global shift toward veganism, resulting in the elimination of the meat and animal agriculture industries, would protect the environment from various detrimental effects.
As the world population grows at an astonishing rate, our mother earth is getting very crowded. Our natural resources are being overused and the land available for life is getting smaller and smaller. Farmers have to find ways to make what land they have usable and profitable. Farmers in general are a shrinking population. How does this relate to the general public? Without farmers we would not have food, without food we will all die. The world is realizing this problem and the best way to solve it is to find more land for habitat. We can not tack on a few million acres to earth and start using that, so we have to find somewhere else to go.
So if hunters can’t afford the equipment to disc fields and plant food plots then they can just go by a cheap feeder and a bag of corn which is rather cheap, and go hunt (Ms, News Now,
The sun dried grass crunched under David’s feet as he reached the mailbox, sweat plastering his golden hair to his forehead. The rural landscape of Shark Bay is bone dry; the lingering heat wave serving as a slap in the face with the wind blowing what is left of his fields into whirlwinds of dirt. His was once a land of luscious green landscape, the soft air turned branches into wind chimes as the trees swayed. These same trees have been bleached by the heat ridden gusts carving tortured sculpture in their trunks. Some might now see this world as one of desolate wasteland but David grew up with the land, this land was a living, growing friend that he knew, loved, and cared for as much as he did his wife and children.
Come on this journey and find out why this can be harmful to the U.S. and the world. How losing farmland affects the Farm Animals Losing land majorly affects farmers and ranchers of all sorts. First losing land can cause there to be to many animals in one area kill the young calves and keeping there from being calves that can grow and take over for the older cattle. This begins to create not only a problem for the farmers but a problem for the buyers and consumers which causes another problem for the farm because he is losing buyers.
It benefits for both animals and humans because they both get something out of it. Animals lose their habitat and the humans gain more land to build but lose money. Animals get sent to zoos or a nature park, and they get taken care of, and protected. While humans also gain more money for selling them to the zoos, or nature
Main Point: and what our community could look like if we all did our part.
“Currently 80% of the world’s agricultural land is used directly or indirectly for animal production. In the US over half the total land mass is used for the production of meat and dairy products” (Clarke).
Envision a farm with an abundance of animals and crops. The farm that most likely comes to mind is not one of giant machinery and smokestacks of pollution, but a vision of the old red barn and cows grazing freely. Sadly, these types of farms are mostly gone in the United States. These ‘family farms’ are being replaced every day by bigger, more industrialized farms. It is sad to see such a staple of the American culture being washed away by a type of farm that is being used purely for economic reasons. Family farming is slowly disappearing from the American landscape. We, as Americans, need to realize the importance of family farming because it produces high quality foods and helps economically for the local community.
So overall, Agriculture is playing a very important role in changing the lifestyle of different people. Agriculture might have made everything easy for us but it still has its cons. We see the effects of agriculture and how it affects the lives of other species and the environment.
