How do you see America? Do you see it as amazing place you ever want to leave and think it’s the best place or as the worst place and that it shouldn’t be America? If someone were to ask me this question I don’t know how I see America it’s a good and bad place. America is a bad place because people die for no reasons sometimes and that’s wrong to kill someone for no reason. Trayvon Martin was killed for no reason on February 26, 2012 by George Zimmerman, they took him to the police station and asked him question but they never took him to jail there wasn’t “enough evidence”. Why should an innocent 17 teen year old be shot and then his killer not even charged or sent to jail. Most people love to watch fights, scary movies, disturbing things
or how most people life’s is used with electronics. Don’t get me wrong America can be a great place also compared to other contents. When we get jobs we get benefits from them like health care and dental care what other places don’t even get some places don’t even get paid a lot of money to survive. We have a grocery store so whenever we get hungry we have food already made we just have to cook it, hit it up or even eat it cold. Places like Africa have to hunt for their food and make a fire and cook it. We have water to drink anytime and already purified for us so we don’t die from dirty water and have the clean the water ourselves. Places like Africa, India and chad need clean water and they can’t even had that. Some Americans are so ungrateful we could have nothing like other places but we don’t we have everything we need in all 50 states we have. No place is ever perfect especially American
Thousands of black teenage males die in gun crimes every year. Many of the teenagers that are killed aren’t even 18 years old. The children and teen killed in 2008 and 2009 could fill more than 229 classrooms. Gun homicide is the number one cause of death for African American male. Trayvon Martin is a perfect example of gun homicide killing our black males. Trayvon Martin was a 17 year old, who was walking home from the 711 on a rainy night. When he was walking, he saw George Zimmerman who was following him and asking him where he was going. When Trayvon began to run, Zimmerman chased him and shot Trayvon Martin because he assumed Trayvon was doing something he wasn’t supposed to be doing. “George Zimm...
Shooting innocents just by the way they dress or walking it’s a disgrace in our country. In the case of Trayvon Martin he was shoot on February 26, 2012 just because he was wearing a hoody and he was black. George Zimmerman the man that killed him said that he acted in self-defends. What would a 17 year old have done that Zimmerman acted in self-defends? I disagree George Zimmerman acted in self-defense and I feel there is something wrong with the stand your ground law. He already had previous problems with his ex wives and ex girlfriends.
America has always been depicted as an amiable place to live in. More than often, foreigners would visualize America as the place where neighbors would greet each other in the morning and have their children play in the back yard with the family dog. However, as with most foreigners, this image was shattered by the adverse environment that surrounded them. One of the biggest mistakes that they failed to recognize was the murder of innocent civilians. These murders were almost always published on the front-page of every major newspaper. As such, Americans have always been interested in the death of others. This is true in the ninetieth and, more predominately, twentieth century. As tales of murders got colder and bloodier, Americans had an instinctive
When families sit down to watch television, they expect to watch family type of shows. Family type shows meaning rated PG or PG13, sitcoms and movies that do not include weapons, killing, foul language, and non-socially accepted actions. When children killing, they start to believe that it is accepted. Do children think that killing and hurting others and themselves have little meaning to the real life, children can become traumatized. Most killers or violators of the law blame their behavior on the media, and the way that television portrays violators. Longitudinal studies tracking viewing habits and behavior patterns of a single individual found that 8-year-old boys, who viewed the most violent programs growing up, were the most likely to engage in aggressive and delinquent behavior by age 18 and serious criminal behavior by age 30 (Eron, 1). Most types of violence that occur today links to what people see on television, act out in video games or cyberspace games, or hear in music. Media adds to the violence that exists today and in the past few decades. It will continue in the future if it is not recognized as a possible threat to our society. When kids go to a movie, watch television, play video games or even surf the web, they become part of what they see and hear. Soaking violence in their heads long enough becomes a part of the way they think, acts, and live. The line between pretend and reality gets blurred.
America, often called land of the free, opportunity, but what truly is America has someone actually contemplated it? Well there are certain things that might define America, for example America for some people could be the land of opportunity, There are many reasons why different types of people all across the world might pursue the land of opportunity, America. That one person leaving their home land might be a parent, a parent looking to pursue a better life for their children. A better life than the one they lived. To allow their children to actually follow their dreams and hopes, to be someone in life. Where in America there is truly no limits to what one might become in life, or what one will do with the limitless opportunities.
America has welcomed many different cultures, ethnicities, and religions for many years. Even since Thomas Paine wrote Rights of Man in 1791. Paine believed that nothing could separate the unison between the people because of the just government. People referred to America as the “great melting pot” because of its widespread diversity. America represents a nation filled with self-liberty, free speech, and independence, while cultures settle into this great melting pot. All kinds of different beliefs combine to form the unique identity of America, but despite all of this, in today’s world these differences between opinions and lifestyle have separated the people. The “cordial unison” Paine speaks of may hold true today, but because of the differences in culture, opinions, and lifestyles, it may not hold true in the future.
Attention Graber: Everyone knows that in the United States killing is wrong and if you do kill you get punish for it. Holly Near an activist tells us “Why do we kill people who are killing people to show that killing people is wrong?”
The United States criminal justice system constantly violates human rights. These rights belong to justify every person in America and should not be used to tear one another down for what their beliefs are. Likewise, freedom of speech is so ingrained in the constitution that it should be more widely embraced. The protection of religion, speech, and expression is a critical part of America’s political system. The strong, direct link between freedom and democracy is unbreakable and is an important part in governing ourselves. It states that Congress is prohibited in creating laws against people’s belief’s; yet, it is regularly denied to anyone who talks back to the law. Furthermore, this country supports the death penalty. While some individuals
The international community should have a positive view of America because America has had a past of violence but only when needed and to someone who has never been here, they should come in feeling like America is great. I believe that they should view America of having the values of equality, change and directness, openness, and honesty. These values show that America is an equal
America offers so much to the people who live in the U.S., but America will always be full of criticism, violence, and people who are offended by everything. America still seems to manage to be one of the world's best nations. The first Americans planned America to be as successful as it is, but for America to be more peaceful. America is not one of the most peaceful places, but it is not the most dangerous place to live. Even political parties lie and cheat each other. A lot of the Americans are greedy, because they take advantages of what America offers to their citizens. Even though America is not perfect I am still glad to live in the U.S.
The Bill of Rights laid out the liberties and rights of its citizens. We are allowed to speak badly about our government. We are able to protest when we feel we have been wronged or we want something changed. We can bear firearms freely. We have the right against being detained without a speedy trial. We have the right not to self-incriminate ourselves. We have the to right to vote for our government leaders. Most or all of these rights we often take for granted. I would not know a life where I could not speak freely. I might not be able to write this article if there was not free speech. Many countries have a shortage of these liberties. They are forbidden to do certain things. They aren't given the basic liberties that we feel are second nature to us. They aren't allowed to follow their dreams or pursue the happiness that every one of us seeks throughout our lives. We reach for it, live for it, and even die for it. Television has illustrated that many countries are striving to procure that freedom.
America, land of the free and home of the brave. This is so true but when you stop and think, what is your vision of America? Have you ever stopped to think about it? My vision for America is benefits for veterans, help with college tuitions, and people thinking about their morals.
This essay is going to be all about my opinion one important question “is american evil or good” in my opinion America is not evil the people and the past make it evil the critics demand apologies for these historical offenses and seek financial reparations for minorities and African-Americans. But the truth is that America has gone further than any society in establishing equality of right Let's begin by asking whether the white man was guilty of genocide against the native Indians. As a matter of fact, he was not. As William McNeill , great numbers of Indians did perish as a result of their contact with whites, So what about slavery? No one will deny that America practiced slavery, but America was hardly unique in this respect. Indeed, slavery

Even if killing people is wrong, murders have to be accused for their pitiful moves and fighting skills. To begin, almost every murderer kills someone by either drowning, dropping items, or giving head injuries to the person. They really don’t care about the world around them. Furthermore, the most common people affected by murderers are victims, victim’s families and common/random people. All of them have
