What I Learned In A Writing Class Analysis

Over the course of this semester I have become a better writer. As it ends I can reflect on how I got through this semester and my writing skills completely changing into better. Writing I have come to enjoy and it helps me express more then I can say. The most important thing I have learned so far is how to become a better writing; something I was not expecting to learn so well. I did not think I could handle all of the work, sacrifice, time as I did in this class. Someway, after all of the hours of writing and editing I have accomplished what I had hope jumping into this class.

Procrastination means to always put off something that needs to be done presently. My biggest downfall in my writing is procrastination. I always put off essays I need to write until its almost late when I am finished. It has become such a bad habit for me and hard to stop after getting into the habit. Planning for the future, i’m going to start slowly trying to do it soonest as I can and work from there. I also think another one of the things I lack is creativity to start the paper. I have a hard time trying to figure out my own way to start the process; it doesn’t come to me right away and usually won’t until last minute. I think that is tied to the procrastination. …show more content…

Before this class, I had no clue what I was doing or even how I was going to pass this class. I thought it was too intense, but I stuck it out and I really learned a lot. I hadn’t known how to structure a sentence correctly; even crazier, in different ways. I would have not known where to put the sentences I was writing, or how to start new paragraphs. Everything I have learned and more will effect how I write in my future papers. I think what helped me even more was that we got examples in class and worked
