I do agree with the saying "You don't know what you've got till it's gone." reasons why I agree with her is because someone can be so good to and for you but you're completely rude and don't care, also you can loose someone from death that you argued with for years and you haven't talked to them and once they die you feel guilty. The saying "You don't know what you've got till its gone" means you don't know how good someone or something is till you loose it or its gone for good because you aren't getting it back. What I mean by "Someone can be so good to and for you but you're completely rude and don't care" is that you can be in relationship and you'r partner would go to hell and back for you but you won't or don't see what it is they are doing because you are so focused on you'r own happiness and how you want things to be done, but it don't work that way. When you'r partner leaves you, you for sure don't know what you've got till its gone and it defiently will be to late for you to even turn back and try and change. …show more content…
You neve know how much a person can inpack you'r life with them being in it or around you. You never know how good a person is or can be because you're to worried about what may happen to you and how you will feel. You never thought about how the other person may feel because you're to scared for the truth. "You don't know what you've got till it's gone" is the most realist qoute you can get because at the end of the day anything good you've had is now gone because you never noticed
“Always show appreciation. What’s taken for granted will eventually be taken away. Then you end up missing most what you least appreciated.” The author of this quotes was saying that what you didn’t think of, you will one day remember. You will someday appreciate what you did not care about.
“The unexamined life is not worth living” and “Life is about the journey, not the destination.” I relate to both of this quotes because we all have purpose in our life. We plan out life to be certain way. I plan week in advance so I know what is going to happen this week, what is in plate that I have to take care of it before the time. You need to be control on your life not others. Some people just float though life. They think of their present but they don’t think for their future. They just do the stuff right now and later they will worry about other stuff. They are never ready for future outcome. Only you know how you want to live your life, it’s up to you how you want live it. As I say I plan week ahead for my classes, my work and my family. But it doesn’t always go as it planned. In life you always have to be ready to face some problem. If you live through the problems that is call living life. My dad always tells me that, if you accept the challenge, or face some bad time with smile on face, you will always come out of there and then even the big problems comes you will be ready for it. Don’t ever get nervous for the small problems. Life is made of good time and bad
There have been instances in my life that I would change if I could, but in reality, one must accept what has occurred and keep moving forward in life. Lopez2 Third aphorism, is “There is no such thing as too late in life. He knew that it was never too late to enjoy what you love or to try something new. I think that happiness can be achieved regardless of when things happen in life, and that it’s never too late.
You limit yourself from experiencing life in all of its wonderful complexity’’. In other words, this text is trying to say that positive thinking gets in the way of seeing the full truth or the whole part of life and it takes away the experience of realizing the bad things, the mistakes you make. However, these people are wrong because by dreaming about a life we want or imagine to have is setting goals for ourselves.
that having thoughts and feelings is only possible when humans are involved with a ‘world’.
that says, "So, we're talking forever, And you almost feel better But, betters no excuse for tonight, You see, it's never been enough Just to leave all you gave up, But, its never good enough to feel right". this qoute relates to Macbeth's conversation with lady Macbeth about killing the king because once he has killed he'll be scarred "forever". Even though lady Macbeth percives feeling better once Duncan is dead, it is still no "excuse for [that] night". Also, they have to "[give] up" their nrmal lives to take their
“It is easy, when you are young, to believe that what you desire is no less than what you deserve, to assume that if you want something badly enough, it is your God-given right to have it. (Krakauer 155)
I like this quote because it tells us the change in where humans think everything is good but once a modification is made everything can change. When that certain change is made, it can be painful depending on how you and mind handles it.
to the fact that not everything is as well as it seems and that this
This short quote can have two meanings; on the surface it can mean that the objects she talks about are so small that they are inevitable to lose, like keys and minutes spent doing frivolous activities. However, as shown in the final stanza, this poem is truly about the loss of someone dear to her and The poet is trying to portray the fragility of a life, as it is created with the intent to be lost (death). is unavoidable and everyone must succumb to it. The speaker articulates tension between the two. own need to control specific life events and the difficulty in the reality of actually accomplishing... ...
...times the pleasures of life are too much to bear causing harsh reality to come crashing down when we realize that nothing lasts forever. We might as well enjoy what we have while we have it and not dwell onthings when they are gone, or we might all just be alone and palely loitering.
...s that one must accept the possibility of one's own death before he can truly appreciate what he has on earth, as the sobering awareness that one day, it will all be out of reach, prompts the urge to appreciate and value what one can have only for a limited period of time, and to use every moment of that time doing something that one will not regret when the bird sings its last note.
I always hear those old sayings. In the course of one day I can hear them about everything from retraining old dogs to getting up early. I think they make sense and I even ponder on some of them, but I never really thought one might mean as much to me, or become as realistic as it has become in my life. The clichés about telling those you love, how you feel, before it is too late and the ones about living every day like it is your last have an all new meaning to me.
Watch your thoughts, they become your words; Watch your words; they become your actions; Watch your actions; they become your habits; Watch your habits; they become your character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.
Intimate relationships are a lot of times used for one’s personal needs. Relationships are being created with significant others for many different reason. I have never experienced being in a relationship for the wrong reasons, so I cannot talk much about this. However I can tell you a common issue I personally notice in today’s relationship struggling is the partners don’t talk about their feelings with one another. “Difficulty articulating what you feel; many adults don’t know to express what they feel. Instead, you communicate what you think” (Sachs, 2005). I believe this statement has a lot of truth to it because a lot of couples will not talk things out hoping that they will reside, when in reality that doesn’t happen. Tony and I could definitely work on this factor in our relationship, I have a hard time opening up and telling him my feelings about stuff that may be going on. Tony is really good about telling me how he feels at any time. I struggle with this because I push it off not hoping it will reside but because I feel like it is something I will get over and move on with. This is something we both are willing to work on and it will take time to accomplish
