He wants her to know what she had done, so he still continues to communicate with her. Cass is left with no other choice but to try to talk her way out of this. She was raised by a manipulative business man, who taught her many things on how to persuade people. “ There's always a deal wailing to be made” (86), that's what Cass’s dad always told her, and she planned on using her acquired skills to make a deal with Kyle. She would carefully listen to Kyle's stories on David, their mother, and why Cass was to blame. Cass would carefully think of what to say to get him on her side and persuade him into realizing that his mother was actually to blame. Finally Kyle decided that his mother was the one responsible, so when the detectives questioned him he told them right where to find her. Cass’s convincing attitude ended up saving her life at the last
The Cass Mastern story provides an interesting parallel to the ongoing saga of Jack Burden and Willie Stark. Cass is tormented, as Jack is, by the truth and this drives them both to the brink only Cass falls over and can not recover. Cass hit the spider web when he committed adultery with his good friends wife and after this the venom never seemed to stop flowing. He could not stop tormenting himself because the ripple in the web he caused had been so huge that it swallowed up his friend and destroyed him. Cass could not correct what had been done and that destroyed him. Jack, even though his ripple had also destroyed another, had the opportunity to redeem himself because, even though his action was bad, it truly was in the pursuit of the truth, which, by definition is good.

needed to kill her. Barton finds a way to let her live for a couple more hours, that way she could
The book had a few characters that I liked, but a lot of characters that I disliked. For example Yasmine was a character that I disliked. I didn’t like her because she brought pain to Paige’s life. Yasmine and Paige were best friends for months in Sixth grade. They were constantly doing fun activities together, like having sleepovers or planning each other’s birthday parties, but all that was ruined by a mistake Yasmine made. Paige and Yasmine were at a school dance, when
Fans of the novel found that the way the novel is written, you never want to put it down and the action keeps things moving and is quite entertaining. The novel pulls you in and makes you love each of the main characters in it. This is a great series for anyone to read, and it is audience friendly for whoever reads them. There is quite a bit of suspense that will make the novel exceed readers 's expectations, and the twists and turns keeps you guessing and lets nothing be predictable. Some like the way this group of people bands together when they really need to and keep things together so they can all stop the

I found the book to be easy, exciting reading because the story line was very realistic and easily relatable. This book flowed for me to a point when, at times, it was difficult to put down. Several scenes pleasantly caught me off guard and some were extremely hilarious, namely, the visit to Martha Oldcrow. I found myself really fond of the char...

The story symbolizes character’s in different way that can be interpreted to analyze. Harry Ashfield, a 5 year old kid, dies in a tragic way where his belief and faith lead him to what seemed a pointless death. His literally taking of Bevel Summers words lead him to God, where he wanted to be after living a life so empty and concerning The story represents actions and events that help us visualize what each character symbolizes, to conclude to a characters faith, belief, and weakness/strengths. Flannery O Connor helps us to connect with the story and possibly think about how are religion or beliefs affected us towards conflicts. Having personal connection is our main focus and the characters in the story may represent us or something in our lives.
There are six main characters in this story: Mark, David, Susan, Jeff, Betsy, and Mr. Griffin. The most influential would be Mark. He is the one who comes up with the plan to kidnap Mr. Griffin. He is not a very good student and has a reputation of being a "bad boy." Next there is David. David is supposed to be one of the better kids in the story. He is a senior who is in the same class as Mark and the other characters. His role in the kidnapping is to get Susan to go along with the plan., and to help with the kidnapping itself. He seems to be a rather good kid in the beginning of the story but he progresses to be one of the bad ones. He has a very stressful home life with his mom and grandma. Then there is Susan. Susan is the good student and kid of the group. She is thought of as unpopular and a geek. She is very bright considering that she is a junior and is taking an English IV class. She is supposed to distract Mr. Griffin by having a meeting with him after school on the day of the event. She then gets pulled into the conflict even further when she wants to go to the police when Mr. Griffin dies. She almost gets
Readers develop a compassionate emotion toward the characters, although the characters are detached and impersonal, due to the tone of The Road. The characters are unidentified, generalizing the experience and making it relatable – meaning similar instances can happen to anyone, not just the characters in the novel. McCarthy combined the brutality of the post-apocalyptic world with tender love between father and son through tone.
The most important main characters in my opinion would be Jack, Ellen, Cameron, and most importantly Anna. Jack is Anna’s older brother, who had been dating Cameron for a few months until the accident. Ellen is Anna’s best friend who was in the accident with her. Cameron was coming towards Anna and Ellen on the opposite side of the road. Cameron tried to dodge a tree branch that was lying in the middle of the road. In the process of doing that, she hit Anna and Ellen head on. Ellen was completely passed out, and all Anna heard was screams, getting softer until they just quit. The screams were Cameron until she died. Anna is definitely the ultimate main character in my eyes. This book went on to explain how Anna went on with her life, knowing she technically killed someone. Anna had a rough time between night sweats, night terrors, and the screams in her head repeating. That is when Ellen’s and Anna’s parents agreed it was time to take a getaway trip to the
The main characters were Charlie and Riley. I did enjoy the characters. I found them intriguing and loved that I could relate with Charlie. They were characters that in the eyes of the public would be considered bad, but in my eyes, they were trying to be good.
And you’re goin’ to tell him, do you understand. I’m his father and he’s my son, and if there’s something bigger than that I’ll put a bullet in my head”(p.p.425-426). He is so blinded by this desire innate in his being, he can’t see the error. When Kate discusses lying to Chris by expressing guilt Joe replys surprised and mad saying, “What must I be forgiven?
Other people should read this book because it has interesting characters, humor and an interesting plot. Katherine is an uncharacteristic character from this time period. Baptista is a not very good father, and Tranio is a good actor for a servant. There are scenes that will have you on the floor in laughter. There are also weird plots twists.
