Renewable mean sources that can be renew continuously. Renewable energy is usually defined as energy which is gathered from resources that are replaced on a human period, like tides, wind, rain, sun, waves, and geothermal heat.

Geothermal
The Greek word for geo meant Earth whilst their word for thermal meant heat from the Earth. Geothermal energy is energy produced from the warmth of the Earth. The Earth’s center is so hot that it is molten and is a space of about 4000 miles. Heat in the middle of the Earth heats up the outer layers of rock called the mantle and conducts outwards. When such stone melts and becomes molten it's known as magma. Magma can reach below the earth’s surface. Rain water occasionally seeps down through cracks and geological fault lines becoming super warmed by the hot stone beneath. Part of the super-heated water rises back to the top of the Earth where it appears as hot springs as well as geysers.

In addition, an elevation of 7,733 feet (2,357 m) above sea level forms rarefied air in Yellowstone area. All of these show a severe circumstance for any plants or animals. Alternative energy sources are renewable, and is most commonly referred to as free energy sources. There are many alternative energy sources such as hydro power, solar power, wind, biomass, and geothermal. Using alternative sources is more expensive in the long run, but it is the much safer option for our environment compared to fossil fuels. Although everything used is completely free, such as water and wind, the equipment used to generate these things are expensive. Currently the United States of America thrives on the use of fossil fuels and nuclear power. The main problems with these types of fuel are that they are both limited and can be extremely harmful to our environment. They cause global warming, air pollution, acid rain, and oil spills (Environment), and not only that, but in the grand scheme of things, these sources really aren’t even that cheap of a fuel source. There are many alternatives to these all but outdated fuel sources.
All of these individuals are an essential part of the planning and constructing process of the geothermal plant. The first step to building a plant is to research an effective location where a geothermal plant can be built. Many groups of scientist including environmental scientist, geologists, hydrologists, and wildlife biologists are brought on board to ensure the work that is going to be done on the plant is effective and that it complies with regulations. Environmental scientists are responsible to ensure that the geothermal plant complies with environmental regulations and to minimize hazards to the environment. To find the most effective areas to drill for a geothermal site, geologist study graphs and charts. They also use their knowledge of rocks to find locations that are going to be the most price effective. Hydrologists are an essential part of the team to build a geothermal plant, because they study the quality of water and the availability of water. They are important in the process of pick a location for the geothermal plant because geothermal energy can be produced by heat that comes from water. Wildlife biologists ensure the safety of the surrounding wildlife. They make recommendations on how to minimize and altogether avoid interfering with the ecosystem. This large selection of fuels supports the idea of renewable fuels one day powering the entire planet. All the sources of energy have different niches and benefits. I am certain that all have heard of the terms greenhouse gases, fossil fuels, and global warming. Have you ever questioned what will happen if nothing is done about the environmental problems facing the world today? What if I answer you that, we can merely use the power from the sun to power up our entire planet without the use of harmful energy sources, which affect our atmosphere? The power from the sun is what we call solar power. Solar power is the energy that comes from the sun as light and heat energy, and then it is later converted into electrical energy through solar panels (Nelson, 2008).
There are different kinds of resources that we can use in order to produce renewable energy. Solar power, wind power, hydroelectric power are just some of the kinds of renewable energy that might be the best options to obtain energy because they come from natural resources. Although renewable energy can be expensive to build, it has less environmental damage in comparison to non-renewable energy. Besides the natural resources such as sun, wind, water and hydrogen, we also have geothermal power, and biofuels as renewable sources.
Out of all of the different types of resources I say renewable is the best. The natural resources which are consumed/exhausted/depleted through continuous use and can be recovered by very hard efforts taken up for long periods are called Renewable Resources. For e.g. Soils, forests, groundwater etc. In other words we can say that all renewable resources are replenished through natural cycles or manually. For example oxygen in air is replenished through photosynthesis. Forests are maintained themselves and manually. Similarly, fresh water is available through cycles & manually too.
