“I really regret eating healthy today…. Said no one ever.” Being healthy now will affect my self in the future. The choices that I make now are playing sports, being cautious about the fast food I eat, and loving my body on how it is. My first choice of being healthy is playing sports/ being on a sports team. For example sports reduces the risk of disease. The most common disease is cardiovascular disease this can occur when you are inactive. Also playing sports reduces stress. And you are always happier after your practice is over. Lastly, What I have learned is that playing sports helps me achieve my goals and dreams. As a result playing sports has benefits and positive impacts for me in the future. Next being cautious on my fast food
In my life, I had not had the chance to be a part of something that influenced me much, until I joined football my freshman year in high school. Joining football was perhaps the most devoted and wisest thing that I did because shortly after joining I began to see changes for the better, and from then I saw the person that I wanted to be in the future. In other words, it shaped the person that I am today and will be for the rest of my life. Not only did the sport influence me but it also equipped me with a new mindset that affects me today in my decision making skills, time management and many other beneficial life virtues. I believe that these virtues will bring me success in the nearest future because I feel confident about myself and I feel more in control in my life through my actions, all thanks to simply joining what seemed to be a “regular” extracurricular.
Engaging in sports plays a significant role in promoting health and wellness among children and adolescents. Although sports participation provides numerous physical and social benefits, it also has a downside: the risk of sports-related injuries. Many children and adolescents are treated in the emergency department each year for sports and recreation-related injuries. I am a young ambitious student who strives to excel in everything I do. I want to study Sport Psychology as I know I possess the right skills to further and develop myself in the career of sports. I have the ability to understand others in sports as I also play sports myself. I have been in high pressured sporting situations which I have used my psychological skills to help increase my performance. What interests me in Sport Psychology is that I can make a big difference to not just my life but the lives of people in sport such as rehabilitating athletes or boosting athlete performance. I am fascinated by how different athletes perform in the same environment and getting practical with the mind, body and brain. Improving performance, consistency and stability in an athlete’s
Sports can help many at- risk youths. In order to participate in sports you need to be committed and willing to work hard. You also have to learn to respect others and accept that winning isn’t the only measure of success. Losing can build character as well. When youth participate in a sports they enjoy, they are less likely to engage in behaviors that are harmful or dangerous to themselves and others. It is for these reasons schools should strive to maintain athletic programs for their students.
I think that I need to eat a lot healthier. “Healthy eating is not just about weight loss but also about committing to lifelong healthy food habits” (King, 2016 p. 531.). I have never been a healthy eater because I can never find anything I like to eat. I plan to eat healthier, because I think it will make my body feel even better. I think if I have determination to be a healthy eater I can accomplish it.
Health is an achievement that we should all strive for. We all can live long, happy lives and prosper greatly of we just focus on ourselves and block off the outside world and its stress for a few days a week. If we can look good and feel good, our perspective changes and things do change for the better in our lives. If we eat well, are smart with supplementation, and work out efficiently we can achieve greatness.
The thing that inspires me to live a healthy life is how I am going to feel at the end of the day. I want to advance my fitness journey so that I am able to better myself from the person I was yesterday. Chronic diseases and cancer are on the rise, and it is mostly due to how people treat their bodies, which is something that scares me and if I can do something to reduce my chances, then I will. Secondly, Instagram and Facebook are becoming more used for posting fitness journeys. This inspires me to want to start mine as it shows what motivation and determination can do to someone.
The relationship between sport and politics is an extremely important relationship in the context of international relations, power and other political factors. Some people, as the title of this literature review suggests, may try to obscure this relationship between the two with catchphrases such as ‘Sport and politics don’t mix’. Being healthy is something that I put allot of emphasis on sense I was young. Sports and training soon lead to a focus on nutritional and now mental well-being. I understand the effects of stress and negativity and have been making strong efforts to both separate myself from the negative elements. Some life changes and a wonderful life partner have made this goal and lifestyle well worth the time investment.

It can also save a person from developing unwanted diseases and problems in the future, like obesity. However the more people practice eating healthy, the more they would feel good, physically and mentally and have a lot more energy. The more people practice eating healthy, the less feel they would have for reaching food junk foods.
