And He has made My mouth like a sharp sword;
In the shadow of His hand He has hidden Me,
And made Me a polished shaft;
In His quiver He has hidden Me.”

Enough of hiding me in the quiver ..!!!!.” . Enough of experiencing the trim and the molding and a long time of proving myself to You ....Have you ever said so?
Friend perhaps you might be feeling lost in the quiver. You may be believing that You ought to have some ministry entryway open at this point. You ought to be in some position at this point similarly as your occupation is considered or that You ought to have accomplished something at this point. Try not to lose heart. Keep in mind, God has you in His quiver.stay hidden in the quiver," just to be released soon straightforwardly at a bull's-eye when God's strong right hand

Maybe he sees us as a sharp one ready to be used yet he has an appointed time for us. It is very clear that the Father hid Christ in the quiver until it was His ordained time for Christ to begin His ministry.
When Christ was thirty years old, He was presented by John the Baptist at the Jordan River. At that time, He was placed in the bow and was shot forth toward the target that God had ordained for His life—the cross of Calvary.
Remember Joseph.He spent time considerable time in the quiver, and then suddenly God reached back into that quiver and asked, “Joseph, are you there? Are you ready, Joseph?” God hauled him out and shot him straight into theking’s palace He became prime minister of Egypt. Know that we aren't finished waiting until we no longer strive to wait, Know also that , we won't come out of hiding until it no longer matters to us if we do . Joseph knew these truths more than anyone
Genesis 22 opens with God calling out to Abraham. Abraham responds, “Here I am!” (Gen 22:1). According to Levenson’s analysis, Abraham is not simply telling God his location but he is conveying “readiness, attentiveness, and responsiveness” (Levenson 67). Similarly, in the Gospel of John, when Jesus responds, “I AM” to the men looking for him, he conveys readiness, attentiveness, and responsiveness (John 18:5). But in addition, Jesus’ reply also expresses his divinity. These words are seen before in God’s call and commission of Moses in Exodus. “I am who I am… This is what you will tell the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you” (Ex 3:14). This is only the beginning of the many parallels these narratives seem to share. Fundamentally, however, Jesus’s passion clearly supersedes the near sacrifice of Isaac.
We each receive our own divine call from God. Sometimes this call alines with our own aspirations and goals, and other times it doesn’t. After the reading Gary Selby’s paper on Vocation I was left uncertain if my career goals and works were the same as God’s vocation for me. I have chosen to major in Sports Administration to pursue a career in the Lakers’ front office. This might also be God’s calling for me but, I’m at an uncertain moment in my life to know for certain if this is my ultimate calling.
“The Lamb, the conquering Lion of the tribe of Judah, is deemed worthy to take the scroll and to assume his role as
b. God’s blessings upon Joseph (40:1- 41:57) c. Encountering with his family (42:1- 47:31) d. The Twelve tribes (48:1- 50:26) c. Two Major Themes 1. Authority of God: The book of Genesis begins with creation.
The biblical worldview influences me with deciding on what career would be best for me and how I should do it. Decision making is sometimes difficult for some people, unless they feel God has given them a “calling” in a certain career
God is showing us that the tongue is a truly powerful tool and needs to be protected. It is sensitive both physically and with its feelings too. The tongue is the fastest healing body part in our body, yet speaking bad about someone can hurt someone permanently. The tongue cannot be seen from outside the body, showing how we try to protect ourselves from saying
Yet when they do receive the plan from God, it’s important to understand there will challenges of who you are, if you really heard from God, your integrity will be challenged and your hope in God. Focus is key. If we learn to stay focus we can be like Nehemiah building things in 52 days or in two months for the glory of God.
How many of us go to our dream job every day? Even more if we do think and feel we are in the job of our dreams; does it coincide with God’s calling for us? As long as your job is legitimate work, you are serving God by creating good. While going through this course, Principles of Self Management in Business I struggled with relating my career as a Configuration Technician with doing God’s work. While fulfilling the reading and journal requirements for this course, I have realized how my position at Haworth is doing God’s work. I am serving external and internal customers, let alone ...
...we to now have a pattern for victory over defeat. Trust Jesus, he has already conquered where you are week. Lean into Him and let His Grace sustain you through the wilderness.
I now work for the DOD and content within the position I hold but, during this process and this discussion, I was reminded that while a job is important for my basic needs, it should never come to a point where I link complete satisfaction with an organization or a job position. Positions and organizations change and as a result I can always feel empty or unsatisfied. Relying on Jesus, however, I will always lead to complete fulfillment and satisfaction. Even when things change within the workplace, I can rest assure that my savoir never changes and to remain positive that change, no matter the situation, is within his will. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8, New International Version)
Aging is one day on top of the next. No one suddenly gets “old”, it is a process. Starting a successful aging process early on will reap many benefits. As a young adult, there are things that I am doing now that ensures successful aging. I will soon graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and minor in Human Services. After that, I plan to go back to school so I can get my specialist degree in Educational Psychology. Something I consider to be successful is being involved with a community of fellow believers and friends throughout my life. Marrying a man who pushes me to be a better Christ-follower, wife, and woman is something I desire. After I leave Missouri Baptist in December, I would like to have a job lined up that pertains

Perhaps no text in the Hebrew scriptures is as contentiously debated between Jews and Christians as Isaiah 53. Readers ask, who is God's servant that is conferred to within this prophecy? The debate over this passage has produced a list of polemical arguments and still continue to do so. The most common among these arguments are predominantly between Christian and Jewish interpretations of this text. The interpretation of this prophecy differs greatly between the two views.
Preface We live in a society today that is custom made, custom ordered, and disposable; anything you can think of, wish for, or want is readily available at your fingertips, and rushed straight to you, whenever and however you like. Nothing is valued highly anymore, by anyone, and that mentality has crept into our homes, and our churches. Where does that leave a subject such as waiting? It is quickly passed by, or glossed over because, as a popular saying these days go; “Ain’t nobody got time for that”.
My roommate has a bad tendency of “pulling all-nighters” in order to complete assignments at the last minute and cram for exams that are scheduled the next day. This has become a habit that is stressing and tends to lead to negative outcomes, such as a lack of sleep and being unable to learn material effectively. However, there is one way to stop this unhealthy habit. How you may ask? With a little something I like to call, operant conditioning.
