am a Christian! To be a Christian means something. It means I realize I am more than what is visible to you. I have allowed Christ to take root in me that his Word as I hear and receive it in my heart can spread and root out everything that caused me to slowly die while I yet live. I have allowed the Word to be seed planted in me. It soon take my mind and heart where it secures it with moisture and nourishment causing the Word to become firm in me where the proper sustenance cause my spirit and body to submit itself to that which has been planted. I am a Christian because I have grabbed hold of the life sustaining power of Christ by learning how after accepting, believing and confessing Him to deny myself and follow Him unto perfection. I am not perfect …show more content…

When I say I am a Christian I realize that it's not about me but its all about God. I strive daily to be stable, steadfast, and unmovable in Him. I have been regenerated by Christ for God's purpose to be real in my life. I have now become a soldier in the Army of the Lord in this present world I am in but not of. I am a Christian not to slander, gossip or put down another with malicious character for that will quickly take away from the true character of God which is love. When I say I am a Christian that mean there is no falseness about me; I am alert in all fairness to Christ to walk above all my flaws and faults that can only take glory away from the work He did on the Cross. I am a Christian that suffer the same pain, heartache and disappointments at the hand of man as Christ my Savior suffered but I have great joy because as He overcame I too am an overcomer. I can call upon Him and He will answer me speedily. When I say I am a Christian I am not holier than thou but I am Holy for Christ that made me free from sin and death made me Holy. I was a sinner that came to Christ and put all of my faith, hope and trust in Him! He is the Master of my soul.
