EVERY hard work you do, pays off in the long run. Initiating a habit of exercising every day little by little is better THAN just laying on the couch, watching TV shows all day long. That's a statement I believe we can both agree. Whether you go to the gym; stay at home; or even go outside to do your exercise. There are ALL kinds of resources that you can use; such as a bench in the park, for triceps dips and stretching hamstrings; a flat surface, where you can do your yoga/Pilates; or just go for a run/walk outside. Besides, an open space is better when it comes to do your exercise. Beautiful surroundings, fresh air and you'll probably meet new people and make new friends—workout buddies. THE time that you decided to start exercising and make …show more content…
this as your habit, you will realize how pleasant of a feeling you get when you start to see and feel how it changes you, for the better, healthier you. You will get all the BENEFITS for your effort you give in; from training your physical appearance, to get stronger or healthier; to training your emotional and intellectual part, your focus, balance, handling stress and more.
Just like me, you may think you should have started doing this a YEAR ago. But that does not matter anymore. What matters most is doing it now. ONE thing that I know surely is: "Today is a gift, that is why it's called present". Whatever your goal is, whether you want to gain a healthier you or to achieve any goal; it's not about finishing the race, but to enjoy every moment doing the thing you love to do. In this GENERATION, I aspire we should all start to recognize the full implications of exercising for our own HEALTH and well-being. Especially to the children, we all want them to grow healthy; THEY need protection from all kinds of diseases. We can establish a fundraising fitness boot camp for everybody who's interested: with various exercises for the proper ages, and to help the DAV for them and their families through various means. A one MILLION or more, participation around the United States can help so much for the disabled veterans who fought and some died for our freedom: which we truly appreciate for their labor and
sacrifices. The proposition of establishing a fundraising fitness boot camp for those people who wants to be healthier, CONNECTING it to the aid for the DISABILITY subject matter appears to be both fun and rewarding. We will surely HAVE a great feeling when we see the terrific result of our hard work, and at the same time it HELPS us and all the VETERANS; one way to show THEM that we do appreciate them, AND to just help people who are in need. Working out to be healthy or to achieve any goal isn't easy. But it's going to be worth it. We deservedly EARNED what we worked for. Knowing we give in so much effort in doing something we want to do is MORE fulfilling than possessing other things we don't feel like we deserve. Moreover, you might find all about fitness compelling that you will want to do it as a career you want TO pursue: that will be both gratifying and beneficial for your health and FINANCIAL matter.

Physical activity is my weakest area. I only exercised one day of the week and the plan was for six to seven days a week. The most successful and reasonable way that I can work my way up to my goal is to not jump in with both feet and think that I should be over exerting myself because I will lose interest. I enjoy classes such as yoga, spin class, or kickboxing which would be a great way to build up my energy and also be entertaining. Walking for thirty minutes a day is another way to effectively engage my body to be more
body - but what actually constitutes exercise? Exercise can be dissected into two major categories, aerobic exercise and anaerobic exercise. Aerobic exercise is usually a lower intensity, longer endurance form of energy usage that raises the respiratory and pulse rate of the individual. The major physiological classification of this type of exercise is that it accesses the aerobic energy generation process - loosely meaning that your cells need and use more oxygen during this type of exercise (1). Anaerobic exercise is a type of activity that is usually short lived and in high intensity, such as weight lifting or short sprinting. This type of activity does not require your body’s cells to take up increased amounts of oxygen. Anaerobic exertion must use a very fast fuel source like the phosphates creatinine phosphate and adenosine triphosphate as well as anaerobic glycolysis (2). If the individual continues to work past the means of anaerobic exercise, the body will begin to use aerobic pathways for energy production like the citric acid cycle and oxidative phosphorylation, which require much higher quantities of oxygen (1).

Exercising frequently can be a positive habit, but if a person becomes addicted to it, it has negative effects as well. Exercise addiction is not easy to identify because, like any other addict, they tend to deny they have a problem. This addiction is referred to by a variety of names such as exercise dependence, exercise addiction, obligatory exercise, compulsive athleticism, compulsive exercising, and exercise abuse. "Men and women are equally prone to exercise addiction, which affects about three percent of the population, according to a study at the University of Southern California. Exercise addicts usually work out two or three hours a day, six or seven days a week." (Seymour) Exercise addicts, of both genders, do not understand the difference between pushing their limits and overstepping them.

The first two days of the change were hard, but when I finally got in the gym and started my workout, I felt better than when I came in. When I finished my workout, I was sweaty, tired, and honestly ready for bed (I like to workout at night.) The rest of the week was a lot easier, because the first couple of days are always the hardest for me, and that part was over. I chose this behavior because I know that along with eating healthy the gym or some form of exercise is required for the body to be in tip-top shape.
