I am very eager to pursued my majors of fashion design and psychology at Drexel University's Westphal College because I want to give myself the best boost to pursue my career goals. My hope is to go into fashion design and hopefully start a business brand or venture in to fashion psychology and I do very much feel that I can prepare myself very well for whats to come.
When I first started looking for potential schools in which felt right for me I didn't exactly know where to start. The many other colleges that I researched didn't have a fashion program and if they did, it strictly was an art school in which i wasn't necessarily comfortable with. My idea for a dream college was a large campus that had enough programs for one to be flexible with and not have to worry if an original major choice didn't end up working out. However I came across some college information that stated that Drexel University has one of the best rankings for their design programs

and when I researched the many more opportunities the college had to offer. On top of that that diverse environment that Drexel offers to get to know and meet different people pursuing different majors is incredibly impressive and this has prompted me to apply. Knowing that I very much have interests in design and psychology I have prepare myself my during my sophomore, junior, and senior year for the requirements needing to apply for these courses.
Though I self taught myself to illustrate and sew my designs, I have taken sewing and arts classes to aid my portfolio ideas. I have challenged myself to do sewing design projects by setting a designated due date wear or display my work. For instance I had challenged myself to illustrate and design my junior prom dress in less than month. The same thing can go for my DIY track pants, dresses and costumes in which i had given myself a good week to organize, prepare, and present the clothing in which I am proud of. To prepare myself for the retail aspect of fashion design I started working partime at the Hollisters, Menlo Park, NJ; over there I am able to learn and actually see behind the scenes of how retail I set up. In addition, I get help costumers by talking to them and helping them find the clothing that right for
them. For psychology interests, I take and online AP psychology course to help get additional college credits and learn about the human mindset. I attend and sit in on my mother psychiatry conventions and try to find out where can I be involved. Other programs that I have taken to enhance my education are college summer institutes and communication seminars. These experiences that I have made to prepare me for my studies allow me
...ssed with such skills to be successful, there is always time to improve both business and designing skills to become a successful fashion designer.
I would hope to allow myself to distinguish myself from other students and make myself more prevalent and outstanding in my specific classes. As I would like to purse a degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminology, I would like to become an ‘All around Psychologist’ dabbling in numerous sections of the ‘Psychology life.’ It is my belief that this HBCU would give me all mental and educational tools that will aid me in being the best in my chosen field. It is not that I do not like the educational system at my current university, it is just that i feel as though I can excel beyond measures at my new university coming this Spring.
I was recently accepted into the Exploratory Studies college at NC State, and am beyond excited to hopefully continue my academic career at NC State University. Although I am currently undecided on my major, I've shown the most interest in math and science related subjects, and hope to pursue similar avenues of study at State through the Exploratory Studies program. I am interested in exploring different career paths that I may have not yet considered, and believe that this program will provide me with the resources necessary to truly discover what I want to do for the rest of my life. Although I currently do not have any specific career objectives, I am confident that I will leave NC State prepared to build a successful career, regardless of my eventual major. I am excited at how much NC State and the Exploratory Studies college has to offer, and hope to eventually graduate with the experience and knowledge to begin a professional career.
Going to college is a big step in a young person’s life. That is why when going to college; one should know which college they would like to go to. For me personally, the college of my dreams is Louisiana State University. The top three majors at Louisiana State University are Biology, Biomedical engineering, and Business. The main reason I want to go to Louisiana State University is because of their amazing biology department .The main things that caught my attention about Louisiana State University, was how flexible I could be with my money, it isn’t that hard to apply and the admission process is pretty doable, and the campus life is interesting with many clubs and organizations that I could join.
Currently, I am attending Waynesburg College in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. majoring in computer science and minoring in business. I have always had a
I feel the Suffolk University can lay the groundwork for making these dreams a reality. Regretfully, when I entered high school, I did not realize how hard I had to work to get what I wanted. I went to my classes, did my work, but never really pushed myself to my full potential. I thought that as long as I graduated with decent grades I would be able to get into college and really focus then. But as high school quickly came to an end, I realized that I was not as well prepared for college, as I would have liked.
I look forward to attending graduate school for school counseling. Attending the University of North Carolina will allow me the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to aid students facing a variety of difficult situations. I am ready to take the next step in my career as a school counselor.

I came to GW as a first-year resident and completed five years of training, to include four years of residency and a one-year fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Since early on in my training, I was completely devoted to advancing women's health through providing quality care surgical procedure. After graduation, I worked on amassing all the data we had from vast prior experience in the field to share with the scientific community the care we provide at GW and advance surgical practices by evidence showing improved patient outcomes with minimally invasive surgery. To date, we have multiple functional laparoscopic and robotic databases on all the primary gynecologic procedures. We have used those databases to publish several peer-reviewed articles in leading gynecologic journals and are in the process of completing a couple of the largest cohorts on single-site myomectomy and abdominal cerclage in the nation. This practice makes our department at GW a champion in the change achieved in the surgical care provided to women in the
As a young woman growing up in an urbanized setting and attending public schools all of my life, when the time came to start planning and searching for colleges, I searched for schools that I felt fit my persona, that I would be comfortable attending for some of the most integral years of my life. My search included schools such as Temple University, and Pennsylvania State University, higher education institutions that allowed me to challenge myself, but at the same time would put me in a setting where I would be with others just like myself, fitting into the standard American university fashion.
Educational Goals: Education is extremely important part of my past, present, and future goals. I currently hold an Associate of Applied Science in Graphic Design Media. I have found that an A.A.S Degree does not go as far al I originally intended in the Rochester, MN area and furthering my education will be a necessity for my future career goals. Over the past 2 years I have been working on my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at the Minnesota School of Business Rochester campus. I am currently a senior with 3 quarters left before a spring graduation. After a June graduation, I plan on taking a summer quarter break. After summer break I will either continue on at MSB for my Masters in Business Administration with a Minor in Marketing or transferring the University of Minnesota for my Masters in Adult Education. After my Masters Degree is complete I will decide at that time if I wish to continue on and achieve my Ph.D.
Lovecraftian stories are undoubtedly known for their willingness to traverse through territories often viewed as taboo by more traditional authors. Herbert West – Reanimator, Lovecraft’s magazine periodical of the 1920s, is of no exception. Although lacking in what some may call the Lovecraftian theme of powerful demi-god like beings, cults worshiping these beings, and other unique mythos, the themes of an obsession with the supernatural unknown, the obtaining of life-shattering knowledge and an unnamed narrator dragged into it all are still present throughout the work. Herbert West – Reanimator, in itself, through its description of the ‘reanimated’, the mental and physical regression of both West and the narrator, and its questioning of the
In order to prepare for this career in my future I would need to attend a college involving designing, fashion designing, and a type of art. The education I would need would be a two year to four year college for fashion designing and a one year to three year college for interior designing. These careers take a bachelors degree in some place of art. In order to want to attend college first of all I would have to maintain an acceptable grade point average of what I would possibly assume of a 2.5 or higher depending on the location of the college as well as the skill learning level of the college.
