The movie is different from the original book. Have you ever felt that a movie based on a book you loved didn't quite turn out to be the same? Turning a book into a movie can change a lot of things about the story. The Westing Game was made into a movie, but the movie is different from the book in many ways. Most of the big details are left out in the book. Some of the changes are characters missing, characters changing, and changes in events. There were some characters from the book that didn't appear in the movie, including Denton Deere, Flora Baumbach, Madame Hoo, and Theo Theodorakis.
