Before the likes of Spider-Man, Captain America, and Thor ever hit the big screen, there was Blade the Vampire Hunter. The character, played by Wesley Snipes, was one of Marvel Comics' first big movie stars and spawned a successful trilogy of films during its run in the late 90's and early 2000's. It's been more than a decade since Snipes last stepped into the role in 2004's Blade: Trinity, and since then his Marvel cohorts have become the biggest name in blockbuster cinema thanks to the chart topping success of The Avengers and the rest of Marvel Studios' cinematic universe. During a recent interview the Huffington Post to promote his new TV series The Player, Snipes was asked if there was a chance if he would ever return to the role. He
responded by saying: "There's always a possibility, you know. It's in Marvel's hands. They're controlling the pace and the flow with that. Conversations have been good. They see the value in it. We see the value in it, I'm still in shape enough and fit enough to handle the role. We'll see how it goes. I don't really know what's going to happen to it yet." As for the possibility of Blade ever joining the ranks of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Snipes hinted that there is indeed a chance, acknowledging that crossovers have occurred in the comic books. 'That would be interesting. I mean, I know it's in the comic book. It would be interesting to see where they would place him and where he really would fit in. He's got to bite somebody. I don't know who he's going to bite.' So there you have it. Blade may indeed return to the big screen one day. But we'll have to wait and see how this develops.

“The chilling truth is that his story could have been mine. The tragedy is that my story could have been his” (Moore, 2011). This quote perfectly describes the book The Other Wes Moore. This book was a story about two people who have the same name and grew up in similar environments, but had very different lives. The author of the book, Mr. Moore, became successful and was given the opportunity to receive “one of the most prestigious academic awards for students in the world” (Moore, 2011). On the other side of the spectrum, the other Wes Moore “will spend every day until his death behind bars for an armed robbery that left a police officer and a father of five dead” (Moore, 2011). Mr. Moore decided to contact the
In The Other Wes Moore, the author and a neighbor have the same name, Wes Moore, and they both begin their lives in similar ways. However, as their lives progress, they begin to part. For example, both “lost” their fathers when they were young. Because of the way their mothers respond to this loss, the boys’ lives begin to separate. Both mothers have different responses to challenges in general, which eventually leads them to respond to their child’s actions in contrasting ways. Throughout this novel, readers learn that depending on how a mother decides to react to the negative actions of their child’s actions, the child can either lead a successful life or lead a life of failure.
With his good looks, wild success, and baffling lack of acting or comedic talent, Ashton Kutcher is pretty much the quintessential D-bag. It only makes sense then, that his Netflix original series The Ranch is the quintessential D-bag show.

The tragic hero our one-act play centers around is Paul Walker. Paul Walker was a famous Hollywood actor, known for his role as Brian O’Conner in the popular film series The Fast and the Furious. Paul Walker was an incredibly charitable man, who dedicated countless hours to charity and volunteer work. Walker founded the charity "Reach Out Worldwide”, an organization that provides relief efforts in areas that are affected by natural disasters, such as earthquakes or hurricanes.
Let’s discuss a little bit of comic book history for starters. The most iconic superhero in all of American comic book history has got to be Superman. He was created near the beginning of superhero comic books and debuted in Action Comics #1 in 1938[1]. He would remain as the blueprint for many superheroes for years to come as the atypical white American male. But as the years go by there were comic book heroes that came out that go against this archetype such as Wonder
The character(s) that I chose to diagnosis and treat are the Minions from Despicable Me. I would diagnose them with ADHD or “Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder” because they are extremely hyperactive, are constantly being distracted by random objects passing by, and had difficulty in properly carrying out Gru’s objectives because of their disposition to be distracted and wide-eyed at any little thing. In order to treat the minions’ ADHD, i would use behavior therapy which uses learning principles, such as classical and operant conditioning, to get rid of unwanted behavior and reinforced the desired behavior. Specifically, i would use progressive relaxation, despite the fact that it is used mostly to treat anxiety. Progressive relaxation
Kant: Wow Darwin you either did not read the book, or you completely missed what was going on. Superman had superpowers that consisted of super hearing, super vision, super strength, and flying.
When asked about his thoughts on acting in general, Denzel Washington said, “Acting is mysterious and it’s something you can’t explain. You have to bring something to the table and it should be mysterious in the way that you get to where you are in a scene.” Washington is not only a film actor but also a mainstage actor. He has performed in stage productions such as Wings of the Morning, A Soldier’s Play, Richard III, Julius Caesar, Fences, and A Raisin in the Sun. He has been in many films and won many awards, such as an Obie Award, an Academy Award, and a Golden Globe award. He is married and he and his wife Pauletta have four children together.
Reynolds has appeared in other movies centered around superheroes, such as The Green Lantern and even playing Wade Wilson (Deadpool) in X-Men: Wolverine. However, his role in this particular film can easily
His role is to be Tony’s bodyguard which is ironic because Tony does not need a bodyguard because he is freaking Iron Man. The antagonist in this movie is played by Mickey Rourke. Marvel has done a wonderful job with their movies from Spiderman to the Avengers therefore this movie was bound to be great from the
as Tony Stark/Ironman, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce banners/Hulk, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Jeremy Runner as Agent Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Scarlet Johanson as Agent Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow along with the other supporting cast of Samuel Jackson as Nick Fury, Don Cheadle as James Rhodes/War Machine, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / The Falcon and Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill. Everyone gets their share of screen time. With so many actors in one movie, there seems to be a loss. But Joss Whedon once again manages to get it right. Each one of them getting ample screen space in their respective nature.
The Marvel films have recently developed a reputation for having weak or underdeveloped villains. While this is not entirely fair, as the Marvel films have had some amazing villains despite the few weaker ones amongst the many that have been presented there are some incredible villains from the comics (and other media) that have yet to get any use. Whether it’s due to other companies owning the rights or them simply not getting down to using them, some of them have a lot to offer. Here are 8 of the most promising… Venom Venom is one of Spider-Man’s most recognizable villains, yet despite that he hasn’t got an on screen depiction that does the character justice. He falls on the anti-hero side of things, meaning he isn’t such a bad guy when
