Time after time, Joseph Kony has been given opportunities to sign peace treaties but he has denied. Now that these negotiations have been going on for quite some time now, more and more people are willing to give in to Kony’s conditions to ensure peace than they were before.
Some government leaders are finding the idea of agreeing to Kony’s terms may be the only way to settle this growing problem reasonably. They believe that giving him what he wants is the solution. People

who have experienced the wrath of Kony first hand are looking at the situation differently. To them, he is a man who has forced them to relocate from their homes, killed loved ones, and has made their lives never the same. Those are the people who are seeking justice and want Kony to face what they have had to endure for quite some time.
It is important that Kony not be treated just as another criminal. His actions are uncalled for, and abducting children to use for sex slaves and soldiers is not something to be overlooked. With the help of other countries and awareness of the situation, justice for those who have been affected by Kony should be fought for. Allowing Kony’s demands to be met would be like negotiating with terrorists. He should not even begin to say that he wants to go home safely when he has ultimately turned the lives of many Africans upside down.
