Welding: Structural Iron and Steel Working Welding is the key to the evolution of life in various ways that some people will never understand. The most important events in our nation’s history could not have happened without the arts and tools created by welders around the world. Wars, cities, nations, and even continents all evolved and became bigger, better, and stronger because of the creation of welding. The smallest and the biggest structures on earth have all been touched or designed by welders across the world. We are all nearby some type of structural iron and steel working every day not even realizing it without taking a second look. Welders themselves mostly do not think nothing about the arts of welding until after they finish the job because it comes so natural to them. Welders’ jobs are not just limited to creating weapons or skyscrapers, but they also save lives and put roofs over people’s heads every day. …show more content…

The most important part about these materials is how to use and combine them into structures that serve a purpose or idea to others. Welders have discovered how to use heat and pressure for iron and steel to combine and structuralize. This process is called welding which evolves temperatures of up 10,000 degrees F (5,538 degrees Celsius) and showers of sparks. The heat to weld with comes from a generator and has to have a ground to work most importantly you have to work with the right gear or you could go blind. Most people think welding is a complex task that takes years of practice to master which isn’t wrong entirely, but it is pretty simple once you learn how to use it and how it works. The more one practices welding the better one becomes experience in the field of construction and can give you a lot of options in
