makes people want to drink that beer, because they subconsciously want to have the experience as people in the commercial. The final option that commercials have to appeal to is brand identity. This means they are trying to cause people to know their brand, so that when they go shopping for whatever they need, they will think about that brand, and hopefully buy a product that the brand makes. Shang states this about brand loyalty “Brand loyalty originally referred to consumers' repeated purchasing. Repeat purchasing, however, may only indicate consumers' temporary acceptance of a brand. One of the many brands I participate in is Nike. I like Nike so much, because it is an athletic brand that is not strictly for athletes. Under Amour is similar to Nike, but Under Armor is more for athletes. With the trends right now Under Armor is more so looked down upon than ever before. Nike is still going strong, but they are losing revenue compared to where they used to be. I have some Under Armor products, but I do not feel their products are on par with Nike. The design of the clothing is simply not as good as Nike. Wearing Under Armor makes me feel as if I should be playing football, because that seems to be their main target. However, unlike Nike I do not wear much Adidas clothing. I simply buy their shoes. I used to buy only Nike shoes, but ever since the last year or two, my shoes have been almost entirely taken over by Adidas. My only Nike shoes that I still wear is one pair that I wear to the gym, and one pair that I wear when it is raining, and I do not wanna mess up a good pair of shoes. Adidas’s boost technology cushion is simply much more comfortable than basic shoes with EVA cushioning. I currently have six pairs of Adidas shoes, and they all have boost technology in them. Three of them are the same shoe, they are just different color ways. One person I know of who is a brand fanatic is a Youtuber known as “Oh it’s Teddy”. He has literally hundreds of pairs of Adidas shoes, and they all have boost technology in them. But, unlike me, he buys everything Adidas, and only Adidas. He is completely a brand
