Many students suffer from the school system. Many students face problems in schools because lack of the system. There are so many problems in school that should never be there, education now involving more problems than anything else. In recent years so many people have lost their lives in the class-room. There are ways to improve school system by police presence, to end overcrowded condition, and to hire more qualified teachers.
First of all, police presence is very important in schools, because of so many reasons. First reason for police in campus will prevent a lot of gang problems. For example, student is less likely to be victims of crimes. And also the school will be a safer place for students; many schools now are facing a lot of gang problems because of lack of police presence. Police will have more control over the gang members by having more secure schools. Student will be less likely to start problems in campus.
Second, end overcrowded classes, as population grows the demand of building more schools grow with it. In average, we should have six-hundred to eight-hundred students in each school. Nevertheless, some schools now have over one-thousand students, which make it very difficult inside the class room. In a big city like Raleigh the number of students is very large, and that leads to so many problems like making around year school, which have a negative impact on the students. Students will be able to understand more when there are fewer numbers inside the class room.
Finally, hire more qualified teachers; education is very important part of our lives, we should be careful of how we choose teachers. Many teachers are not qualified for teaching; in order for students to understand the subject the teacher had to teach it first. I have met many teachers love to teach, but I also I meet other teachers hate their jobs. Our part is to keep an eye on improving education. Training and retraining teachers to meet the needs, help teachers and students.
How will this growing problem be fixed, not only in the United States but the world as well? One important action is to continue the effort to improve schools worldwide. Schools in poorer areas of districts would benefit from a greater number of better trained teachers and faculty. Other actions to help improve schools would be to add more leadership and extracurricular activities, encourage students to focus and stay in school, and making things such as school lunch and recess better. It is important to have students enjoy being at school and enjoy learning, otherwise they'll lose intere...
Students and teachers are both stuck, and in order to have a successful school system we must have happy teacher. To bring exciting lesson plans and less bored students, we need happy teachers, in order to have happy teachers the government needs to allow teachers to teach how they
...iform policy, bullying, segregation, and distractions will not be the reasons of poor school environment. When all the negative effects are prevented, it would form a better place for students to learn and keeps them united.
Having armed officers in schools can help the safety of the students and faculty. It could possibly help stop mass shootings or lower the casualties of shootings that occur. Making schools safer should be an important topic to talk about because we want students to feel safe while learning. Schools should make sure the students feel safe going to school. Schools should study past shooting and shooting that were avoided. To further make schools safe and almost worry free. Having no officers in schools has only cause more harm and leaves schools in a vulnerable state for any kind of safety risk. Having some protect of our youth is better then having no protection.
Not only does the presence of police officers allow for better security in the school and safety of both students and faculty, it has many other benefits. Having police officers present in these settings allows for increased knowledge of both the law and the consequences of breaking the law. These programs also allow for growth of relationships between the students and the officers. The police-school programs use officers as sources of information and counselors for the student’s aid. The programs also helped in improving communicating between juveniles and police officers. A combination of having better relationships and communication allows for individuals to feel comfortable opening up and reporting issues such as – abuse, neglect, etc. Some police-school programs tackle more specific problems in today’s society (e.g. bullying or drug use). These programs are set up much like any other liaison program but primarily focus on preventing bullying/drugs and providing juveniles with the consequences of participating in these actions. Personally, I support the police-school consultant/liaison program idea and could give numerous pros as to why I do. Growing up we always had two or three police officers in my high school throughout the day. This created a safe environment and provided us with
The educational system must keep a certain number of children in schools at all costs. Sometimes the system is not concerned with the performance of the students as long as they are in school. If teachers graded the way they should, the failure rates would be much higher than they are today.
If every school were to have a police officer, the cost would be over 5.4 billion dollars. That’s a lot of money, but it will be worth every cent knowing that kids are being protected and saved by them. Some people are worried that police are being put in schools because of student’s behavior. They say that if you treat a child like a criminal, they will become one. That is not what I am suggesting. The police officers need to be in a situation in which they can be on the same side as the students, and protect the students; not the other way around. Putting police officers in schools will be expensive, and controversial, but it will be worth it knowing that students and staff are being saved every
...pic is very thorough, and even the small town people, who seem so far away, share many of the same ideals as many of our own “big-city” parents and teachers. We should allow high schools to retain a larger class size load, which will open up a budget for more elementary teachers. This would allow us to accommodate a class reduction for Pre-K to third grade, dropping them to 18 students per class. This will allow them the one -on-one time they need, and can greatly benefit from the results of a better understanding of the basics of their education. Furthermore, the passion that could present itself due to smaller classes for learning could carry on with these students to adulthood. This could produce a more passion driven generation to come into our work force. When we have such a crammed budget, what is a person to do but to take the facts and put them into action?
The main goal of a police officer is to keep the community safe. A couple different types of patrols that are commonly used by police officers one is patrolling schools when school is in, and the other is patrolling the city. The pros for patrolling a school area are watching for people who are speeding through school zones. Watching out for children who are walking or riding their bike to and from school. Furthermore, officers let their presence be known as schools at all hours of the day in case there's any violence. The cons for patrolling your school, is that officers are placed In Harm's Way. The pros for patrolling a city is when a person is broke down in their car or they locked their keys in their car officers will assist in that area to help them get to where they need to go. Moreover when officers Patrol the city and residential neighborhoods it's less likely that they will hear or see a domestic dispute. The presence of Authority or the police often produces a police presence. The cons of patrolling a city
There are a number of ways that this problem can be solved. To start, teachers could have to have higher credentials, thus giving them a better understanding of the subject areas in which they teach, and giving the students more and better sources (Facts). Right now teachers are only required to have a bachelor’s degree and be certified to teach, have a teaching certificate.
America is a blessed country in numerous ways, and its citizens reap the benefits. Free education is one major benefit that not many other countries provide for their citizens. While it is only a privilege to many, but in the States, people have the right to be educated. However, free education cannot be translated to success for all. For those motivated ones who cherish the privilege to be educated are those who climb up the success ladders later in life. For a certain majority of students in the States, our current educational system may not seem to serve its purpose. In this paper, I will explore two possible adjustments that could be made to improve our system to benefit our next generation. Academic improvement and class size reduction are the two adjustments that I will elaborate on.
All in all, teachers need to be viewed as professionals and not as simply pay babysitters because most do care about the students. Teachers tolerate the low wages, long hours and repetitive disrespect because they desired to place attention on student success. Teachers should not enter that career for the money, but for the devotion they will place on the students. Luckily there are ways to make teachers more valuable in society. Teachers should be given the right equipment to teach the subject that corresponds to them, the two-year skill evaluation should be more precise and by surprise, so no one knows. Also, students should be allowed to evaluate the teachers to provide feedback. Also, teachers should be aware of the surrounding cultures. In conclusion, teachers should motivate students to reach levels they themselves never thought they could attain.
The only solution that I can think of is that each and every teacher must work at putting positive ideas and positive feelings into each and every child. It is a hard task, especially living in today's world, but if teachers can show children that there is a bright future waiting for them they will work towards getting there.
Being a teacher is not an easy task as many people could think. To be a teacher does not only imply to know the subject to be taught, it also includes being willing to constantly improve oneself integrally, as much as updating the resources and materials one uses in teaching. Reflecting and analyzing over and over again the best way to teach to learn and how to make students to extend what has been learned. The many hours spend in the classroom will never be enough to plan lessons, prepare materials, review pupils tasks and exams, as well, all the administrative requirements one has to cover for whatever institution we work. Besides all this a good teacher, a professional one, will have to find the time to keep preparing to improve oneself.
President George Bush’s “No Child Left Behind Act” fails to focus on the recruitment and diversity within the profession. He sets a goal for the year 2005 for every classroom to have a quality teacher but no goal for retaining these teachers. The improvement of the profession requires a national step-by-step effort. The purpose of this paper was to gather and explore information on the teaching profession and with it explore the shortage within in order to educate and strike up reform. It is clear, that reform will require a lot of time and money. The end product however, will show success within the profession thereby equaling success in the classroom. Success comes when present in the classrooms are caring and committed teachers, all with the goal of education and diversity is among them. .
