Was the 35th President of the United States John F. Kennedy’s assassination justified? Some will say it was and others will say the opposite. His assassination was justified. Why? For one, we never got to find out if the man arrested, Lee Harvey Oswald, actually committed the crime. Two, what did Kennedy ever do to Oswald to that he deserved to be killed? Third, murder is never justified.

John Fitzgerald Kennedy was the 35th President of the United States, was assassinated in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963 during a motorcade. Kennedy was a very well liked President and an easy person to like. He had many notable events during his presidency including, the Cuban Missile Crisis, initiating Project Apollo, the African-American Civil Rights Movement, and he increased US involvement in the Vietnam war. Two days after he was shot the police arrested a man named Lee Harvey Oswald. They strongly believe he was the man responsible. Oswald never made it to his trial though. He never made it because a man named Jack Ruby shot him. Ruby was a nightclub owner in Dallas and a normal man. So why did he shoot Oswald? What happened that day is still almost a mystery.

John Kennedy’s assassination was not justified for many reasons.

First, even though most everyone knows and thinks that Lee Harvey Oswald killed the President, there is no factual proof. The police were never able to actually question Oswald because Jack Ruby killed him just a few days before his trial. Supposedly Ruby shot Oswald because he was made at him for shooting the president, but that is not concrete. There is only speculation that Oswald was the man responsible for Kennedy’s assassination. The man the really shot him could still be out there, and we would never

know.

Second, from what we know of John F. Kennedy did nothing to Lee Harvey Oswald. At no point in time did JFK hurt Oswald or any of his family members. There is speculation the Oswald assassinated Kennedy out of complete hatred for him as a president. John Kennedy was a very well like man and a well like President. He did many great things as a President. It is reported that Oswald showed signs of sociopathhy, and narcissistic traits. He was apparently a hard person to be around, he had a rude and arrogant attitude toward others. It’s hard to find concrete evidence of why Oswald would kill him since we were never able to question him.

Thirds, murder is never justified. There is no reason anyone should kill another person. No matter what some does to you or your family, killing someone I never the answer. Even if you think you have a really good reason, the reason isn’t good. If somebody did something to you or your family you shouldn’t go out and kill them, the logical thing to do would be to go and tell the police. So many people in this world think killing is the answer, but the truth is it will never be, it creates even more problems. It is so tragic to think that people have it in their minds that if someone did something to them they should go out and murder them.

In conclusion John Fitzgerald Kennedy’s assassination was not justified. We never found out if Lee Harvey Oswald was the actual assassin, there is no evidence that Kennedy ever hurt him or his family, and there is no reason at any point in time to kill someone. Although others might argue that his murder was justified and that Oswald killed him or not, there is no factual proof. What happened that November day is a mystery that we are still trying to figure out.
