Is Caesar a positive thing for Rome or should he be stopped? Caesar is a bad thing for Rome and he should be stopped. He could negatively affect Rome by ending its republic and setting up a dictatorship, turning his back and hunting the conspirators or destroying Rome throughout his Reign. All these are reasons Brutus should join the conspiracy to assassinate Caeser. For the good of Rome and all the people in it. Caesar could just turn around and kill them all. Brutus will have to live his life in fear Caesar would find out that he plotted against him. Brutus would not be the only person to be hunted by Caesar then. So by taking out Ceaser they all will be able to live a more peaceful and safer life. What would happen if Caesar is king? He could destroy all of Rome and lead it into ruin. After all he is a general, he could lead Rome into war against the rest of the known world and create a war torn society. Sparta was a Greek city state that focused on war but, it weakened their infrastructure. Rome would be feared but its culture, economy and all around way of life would disappear.
