There is a book and a movie called the secret life of Walter Mitty. In the book and in the movie they are somewhat different. Between the book and the movie the best one is the movie. Because the movie is live and you get the full experience that the book doesn’t give/show. First of all the movie is more interesting if you like to watch movies then reading it. Now if you like to read that’s a different story. When you watch the movie you get more experience and you get to actually watch what’s going on. In the movie it’s just more exciting and you get to relax and the movie gives more action and detail. If you are better at watching the movie and understanding it then reading it then the movie would be better. Secondly why the movie is better
is because you get to actually see what’s going on and know how the reading is feeling and how he reacts to things. Let’s say your reading about Walter and it says something like Walter looks depressed. Now, when you’re reading it you just picture him being depressed and not actually seeing them depressed. If you’re watching the movie about him being depressed you can actually see him being depressed and you know how he actually looks and feels. There is a difference between watching something and just imagining it. Still another example is that the movie can show stuff the book cant. Like in the book it just might say Walter Mitty went to a friend’s house and after that he want home. The book just says the general about what he did. But the movie shows what they did while they were at his friend’s house and what they said to each other. It just makes it more interesting and more fun to watch then to read. The movie lets you see the detail and more stuff then the book. Even though some people believe that books are better than movie because they might lock you in to what they are reading, but movies can do the same but even better. They have loud music and they have action to make it better. Books just say exciting words and thoughts to catch your attention. Now, this paper just showed you why the movie is better than the book. If you agree then great. If you still disagree then maybe you should just stick to reading because this paper gets it all. Some people are just movie people like me and enjoy them more. Some people like books like I like my movie.
