In my opinion Walt Disney is arguably the greatest children’s company on the planet. The mere mention of the company’s name can inspire the imagination of millions of children to dream amazing things. Disney in general has created more of a culture. It has impacted people’s lives for many generations. Because of this culture, Disneyland has been successful no matter how expensive the park is or the products they sell in retail. They have found a way to impact peoples lives no matter what age you are or what culture you're from. The company has continues to grow and profits have become even greater than Walt Disney himself ever thought it would be. Fiscal year 2016 was the sixth consecutive year of record results, highlighted by the opening
of Shanghai Disney Resort, the phenomenally successful return of Star Wars, and our Studio’s record-breaking $7.5 billion in total box office. Walt Disney remains confident that the company will continue to deliver strong growth over the long-term as we further strengthen our brands and franchises, our technological capabilities, and our international presence” (The Walt Disney Company, 2016). I love that Disney is constantly evolving, and doesn't do anything without fierce dedication. I can imagine that since Disney has been around for so long, and with so many theme parks, worldwide, there would be a lot of lawsuits. I am interested to hear if they settle most of them, and if the company finds this to be expected since they are so large? How do they cope with the high dollar suites that come to them? Is that compensated in the cost to get into the park?
Disney in World War II Despite his career’s rough start in the 1920’s, Walt Disney has become a household name, known for films such as Bambi and Peter Pan. The cartoonist’s career and company survived many eras of American history; this included the second World War, a harsh time where everyone seemed to be working and living for the war. During World War II, Disney contributed to the war effort through the creation of military insignias, aircraft nose art, and propaganda films. Throughout World War II, Walt Disney Productions created a total of approximately 1,200 military emblems.
Disney will continue to excels with their quality movies, and wonderful theme parks. Their customer service is top of the line, and Walt’s vision is the reason why Disney is the most successful entertainment company. Like Disney said when Disneyland opened in California “ To all who come to this happy place welcome, Disneyland is your land” (Walt Disney 1955). This statement reflects the visions he has casted in his Company, it is not his land its ours to create memories. That is exactly what the Walt Disney Company has done created ever lasting memories to many that will last forever
Have you ever been to Disney world or Disney land? Have you ever seen a show on Disney channel? Have you ever watched a movie and seen the iconic Disney characters or Cinderella’s Castle? Have you ever been to a Disney store? Chances are you answered yes to at least one of these questions. The Disney Empire has touched all our lives in one way or another. So how did all of this get started?
If I could be anyone for a day, I would be an imagineer. Walt Disney World is a destination that has always been a favorite of mine. What fascinates me the most about the park si the animatronics. These carefully sculpted pieces of art and technology showcase the attraction they are placed in. To be an imagineer would be the person I would what to be for a day, as I would be able to learn how these wonderful pieces of technology are brought to life in the parks. The combination of both technology and art is one of the most important aspects to these animatronics as it is what makes them look realistic. The animatronics use high tech pistons in order to create fluid mothison. However, in order to utilize them properly, an animator must
They say it is where dreams happen. The Walt Disney Company has been nothing, but a growing success. Has grown from something, so little to a growing successes. Disney is known worldwide and by all age groups. Everyone when young can have some type of connection. It could be movies, TV, or even playing with Mickey Mouse. But is it worth investing in and will you gain profit? How will it be in ten years…wouldn’t everyone like a glimpse into the future. Will it help create new jobs or only hurt us in the economy? I picked this investment not from my team but because its brand that many people know about. I regret not investing in the Disney stock because I believe that it could have helped us a lot. Disney in my eyes should be a top investment when it comes to the stock market.

Walt Disney himself was a very nostalgic man. One of his greatest longings was for the resurgence of classic small town Main Streets and the utopian-esc type of community it represented. Walt first incorporated his vision of a main street community within his theme park Disneyland. Building everything the 5/8th scale as well as emphasizing the details of the buildings helped create this sense of nostalgia for the classic Main Street in the visitors to his theme park.
A Walt Disney Imagineer Architect for Concept has many advantages on achieving a career like this. Such as designing Disney Park Attractions, Disney Hotels, and Disney Park Rides. An imagineer is a special career for a special person who has the creative mind to believe that anything is possible. Man of Dreams and Magic “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them,” - (Walt Disney). In 1918, Walt enlisted in the American Red Cross and travelled to France by ambulance. the ambulance, of course, was covered from stern to stern with countless cartoons drawn from Disney himself. Having been fascinated by art since a very young age, Walt went on to become an animator after his return from France. He began producing animated shorts for local businesses in Kansas City which led to the creation of his failed project, The Alice Comedies; which featured a real girl stuck in a adventurous animated world.
When it comes to famous animators, Walt Disney is the most common people of today talk about. However, what they don’t realize is that there are other animators out there that are just as famous as Disney. While Disney is without a doubt one of the greatest and most influential animators of all time, there are two that I feel like are on the same level; Ralph Bakshi and Hayao Miyazaki. These two, in my own opinion, are the greatest animators in history. Some of their work is so underrated and influential, that many people have no idea what they’re missing.
Everyone has a story; a story with a beginning and an end. Even the animated Disney Princesses who appear on the silver screen have their own stories. Starting in 1937 to the upcoming Disney’s ,Moana, film debuting in the summer of 2016, Disney Princesses have been around for seventy five years. There are now thirteen official Disney Princesses, who have been coronated at the Disneyland theme park. But, the Disney Princesses known across the world today are not how Walt Disney initially imaged them.
