I went to Walmart on a bright sunny Saturday morning, when I walked in the store, I noticed a woman and her child I then began to secretly follow them as they shopped. As I observed the mother with her Four year old daughter, I noticed that the four year old was very demanding toward her mother about everything. As I walked around the story secretly following the mother and her daughter, I realized that the little girl wanted everything that she saw just like any other typical child. Everything that the little girl wanted she picked up and put it into her mother's shopping cart without asking her. The little girl put at least five food items in her mother's cart while she was not looking. The mother and the child continued to walk through out the store and shop, the mother then went to the children aisle to get the little girl some baby lotion and a …show more content…
This time the mother saw the little girl put the toy in the cart and also heard the noise that the animal made. The mother then noticed everything else that the little girl put into the cart, she then pulled her daughter to the side were no one can see them and said " do not put anything else in this cart do you understand me." The toddler then began to cry and her mother ignored her and continued her shopping. As they continued to shop and as the little girl calmed down from the crying, she found a box with a doll house and 1 doll inside of it, she then asked her mother can she buy it for her. The mother told her anytime she wants something out of the store no matter if she think she is going to be told no or not that she is supposed to ask for it first before putting it in the cart. The mother then told the little that she can only have one thing out of everything she put in the cart, the little girl picked the doll house with the baby doll inside as her choice. After the little girl choose which item she wanted, the mother took everything else that the little put in the cart out and put it back in its correct

There is this teenage girl name Leah who lived in New York, she was ending her first year of high school as a freshman at Flushing High School. On the last month of classes around June she was hanging around with her best friend Henry. After class, they would hang out together and go to the city to explore and waste time, but there was one thing Leah had to tell Henry, her family had to move to Mexico because her parents thought that they will have a better life. So Leah had to leave with them. She told Henry about her moving with her family to Mexico, so they decided to go out to places before she left. They went out to the theatres, walked around the city, and get something to eat like Burger Kings or McDonalds. It was soon Leah had to leave,
Then the girl had to take a break because it was snack time. But after she was done she came right back to playing. She got the entire family up and at the breakfast table, where there were tiny plates sitting at each chair. “Once you’re done get dressed and hop in the car,” said the mother. A couple seconds later she piled all of her dolls in the car. “Where are we going momma,” asked the little boy. After she drives the car around their house she says “we’re at the drive through zoo!” The kids scream with excitement. “Remember children, these are exotic animals, they can be found in the wild or the zoo,” said the mother doll. When the car would drive by the animals, the girl would make animal sounds to its corresponding animal. In addition to the animal sounds that were made, the student also said “oooohhh” and “aahhh.” After they got through all the animals she drove the car around the house and took all of the dolls out. The student then stated that she was bored and was going to move on to another center. She cleaned up her mess and moved
For less than two hours, I observed the grandson of a visitor at my aunt’s home.
Walmart is one of the well-known children’s toy store in the United States and so, I decided to visit the store nearby my house on Davis Street in San Leandro. The store was pretty clean and less busy during the day. This Walmart is vastly huge; perhaps the reason they placed large department and gender signs over the aisles so these would help shoppers easily locate and get the items they are looking for. As a matter of fact, these department signs (e.g. Baby and Toys) and gender signs (e.g. Girls and Boys) helped me find the toy department quickly.
The goal for my ethnographic study is subjected to the study of the people of Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart is a place that varies from city to city, but still attracts many of the same people. Everyone knows the weird people that wear ridiculous things to do their normal routine of shopping. That is why I have chosen to do my mini ethnography one day while shopping as an insider at the local Wal-Mart in Auburn, Alabama. Wal-Mart is a large center for shopping that attracts many different types of people, while creating an environment within itself.
The sun had just set and all the street lights had begun to turn on to help see through the dark alleys. Just before we began to close the store something surprisin...

The observation took place at the Triton College, Child Development Center, on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, from 9:30 am-10:30 am. Children being observed range from ages 3-5 years old. The classroom is led in a child center program promoting education through art and play.
Observation is very important in young children because that is how you get to know a child better. While observing how a child interacts with their peers, adults, and how they behave in different settings, you are getting to know the child without speaking to them.
How does managerial planning for Project Impact take place at different levels within the organization?
Each and every daycare has their own menu for the children’s breakfast and lunch. Through my observations, I have noticed that the “Don’t Worry Childcare” has a variety of food selections throughout the month. For example, the children could either choose from fruit loops cereal, or frosted flakes for breakfast. The children’s snacks eaten varies every day as well. For instance, the children ate milk and cookies one day, and cheese crackers another day. An example of lunch would be, milk, chicken fingers, French fries, green beans, and mixed fruit one day, and spaghetti, corn, peaches, and bread another day. I observed the children eat ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, and peaches one day for lunch. All those food options seemed very delicious.
This is what was happening when that kind shop owner would have a conversation with a young mother about her family.
