- Hi Ashley, can you introduce yourself please.

- Hey, I’m Ashley Well, I am 21 years old, I majoring in Exercise science, I am senior in Lenoir-Rhyne University and I’m in our volleyball team.
- And where are you came from?
- I came from Nelson Country. It is a small city in the middle of Virginia and it’s about 5 hours from here by car.
- Oh, and how did you end up in Lenoir-Rhyne?
- As I’m a volleyball player, the coach from here saw me on a tournament when I was 18. He just sent an e-mail and ask me if I want to be part of LR volleyball team.
- Do you regret about this decision?
- No, not at all. I like it here. I get a high quality education but my favorite part is our team. They are like the second family for me. We spend lots of …show more content…

Are you going to relate it with volleyball?
- Not only with volleyball but with sport in generally. I want to attend grade school for masseur and be an assistant volleyball coach.
- Were there any funny stories that happed with you during your trip with the team?
- Let me think. Ones we went to tournament in Tennessee and there was a building, standing on which you can find yourself in tree different states – Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia – just walking on it’s roof, and we decided to take team picture. Tree, two, one - look at the Birdie – but the real one flipped right over our heads. The picture was awesome. Maybe it’s not so funny but still it’s a great memory.
- And the last question: I know that a lot of sportsmen have their out rituals before the matches. Do you have any?
- I’m not sure if it’s ritual or not, but I always put my equipment on one leg firs, and then on the other. Like sock, knee-guard and trainer on the left leg and only after I’ve done it, repeat the same with right leg. Can’t do it chaotically. And I always wear pony-tail. But I guess it is more like habit than the ritual.
- That’s interesting. Thank you so much Ashley, hope we can come on you match against Wingate on Friday, September 18, at 7pm to cheer up
