Viva Mexico Mexican Restaurant was bought and renovated in 1955 by Agustin Leon and his wife Guadalupe Leon Jaime. Viva Mexico is a highly renowned establishment located in Buford, GA receiving a 4.4 star restaurant on Google Reviews. Viva Mexico’s excellence in customer satisfaction is largely due to their ample dish proportions at low prices, and it continues to be a favorite go-to Mexican Restaurant among the members of the Buford community.
For this Business services operations research project, we partnered with Viva Mexico Mexican Restaurant in Buford, Georgia to create a strategic plan to analyze current customer experience management strategies and then develop a plan that improve the overall experience for customers at Viva Mexico.

Viva Mexico’s hospitality offered by employees can be improved.
Viva Mexico could do a better job in regards to listening and attending to customer needs and concerns.
Based on these conclusions, we created our strategic plan to improve customer service. We concluded that our plan’s main objective should be to greatly improve the hospitality and friendliness of Viva Mexico’s current staff.
We have allotted $7,300 towards the improvement and implementation of an enhanced customer experience strategy. A timeline for these activities is structured on a 12 month basis in 2018. To measure our the effectiveness of our strategic plan we will use various graphs, and data usage counts. These Metrics will solidify our thesis.
II. Introduction

Keeping LeBoeuf’s words in mind when they bought Viva Mexico Mexican Restaurant in 1995, Agustin and Guadalupe Leon followed this example to begin the journey of improving the state of the restaurant,and expanding to new realms. Since then, Viva Mexico Mexican Restaurant has expanded to 4 other locations across the state of Georgia. Moe’s Southwest grill is a fairly new franchise concept. Moe’s was organized July 17, 2000 in Atlanta, Georgia by founder and CEO H. Martin Sprock III. The first franchises were offered in 2001. Their parent company is Raving Brands, franchisor of Doc Green’s, Mams Fu’s, Planet Smoothie, PJ’s Coffee, Monkey Joe’s. On April 11, 2007, Raving Brands sold Moe's to FOCUS Brands, franchisor of Carvel, Cinnabon, Seattle's Best Coffee, and Schlotzsky's. Chuy’s Tex-Mex Restaurant started in 1982 in Austin, TX off Barton Springs Rd. It was the vision of two friends, Mike Young and John Zapp. They wanted to create a restaurant that offered quality food, diverse options, and affordable prices. The first location was in an old, abandoned BBQ shack with limited room and space, but it would certainly do. Mike and John ran low on their budget for décor and ended up with $20 to spend. John went out to find as much décor as possible. “You can’t fake cheap.” said, John. One of the items John came back with was a velvet canvas of Elvis; thus the beginning of the signature culture and environment provide by Chuy’s. John and Mark say, “If you’ve seen one Chuy’s, you’ve seen one Chuy’s.” The one common denominator found in each location is the Elvis Shrine. From the very beginning The King has played a part in this successful restaurants growth and development.
Nordstrom can continue providing their exceptional online experience and client focused approach using their online system by offering an unmatched online experience that copies their in-store customer service. This would allow Nordstrom to raise its revenue considerably as well as further improving their brand image. I will also discuss specific ways of successful execution, and the steps required to provide Nordstrom a stunning picture of how to execute strategy.
The evolution of the taco started with its spread into the United States because of Mexican immigration that led to a mixture of Mexican and American cultures and a diffusion of ideas creating a Mexican American identity. Over time, the taco has been divided between the Mexican American hard shell tacos, representative of the taco’s globalization, and the maize tortillas that date to the Aztec civilization and are symbolic of authentic Mexican cuisine. Hence, with a new identity came a new culture with new food recipes like the hard shell taco that revolutionized the food industry and created Taco Bell. This led to the battle between globalization and national sovereignty as an indication of how the authenticity of Mexican food is put at risk,
This research project is focused on how food exists to not only help us survive, but also for helping to create and shape identities, especially the national identity for Mexico. I will approach this topic primarily through a discussion on the formation of Mexican cuisine, but also about how food tells us stories about history, art, tradition, globalization, authenticity, and on gendered food identities, particularly on the role of women and their sense of empowerment through the evolution of Mexican cuisine. Hector Fernandez is a restaurateur running a successful Mexican restaurant in Taos, New Mexico. For his restaurant, Hector created an own salsa, which is different than the salsa available on the market (and superior in the eyes of his customers).
