I chose to become a veterinarian as a career field because I have always had a passion for working with animals. Becoming a veterinarian would bring me closer to my passion. There are many factors that play in becoming a veterinarian.
The first step in becoming a Veterinarian is to complete a four-year undergraduate program to earn a bachelor’s degree. This could be in zoology, chemistry, animal science, biochemistry or some other life or biological science. Once a bachelor’s degree is complete, then you will need to complete a Doctor of Veterinary of Medicine. These professionals are also required to obtain licensure to practice in the profession. In most cases, these injuries include broken bones; sever lacerations and illnesses like diabetes, joint swelling etcetera. My job would never become uninteresting to me. In other words, it will bring much joy to me to be able to help animals with issues that they have no control over. Another highlight of becoming a veterinarian would be seeing new species of animals. I would also have the pleasure of being given a new challenge of being able to find new diagnosis and strategies to cure different types of illnesses.
Becoming a veterinarian would be a great career path for me because I will go to the extra lengths to make sure I cure every illness. I would also make sure that my practice is executed equally. I will use my research to find diverse ways to solve unanswered questions of uprising diseases. Having to use my problem solving skill to evaluate every new patient because they cannot communicate what is wrong with them. I would also get to work with other animal lovers on a regular basis and enjoy working with coworkers who truly enjoy their jobs and are fully committed to helping
