I am writing this letter to you because I would like our school to be known as a great school as it is now, and we do need money for our school but I just wanted to say why a vending machine is not a good idea. I know that they make all lot of money but it may not be safe and does not have much of an good impacts on students and it won't keep this nice and clean school the same, why or how ? Will keep on reading to find out.
The vending machine that could help our school to fundraise may just make our school worse, it could throw students off their school work and i'm sure you would not like students to behave like that. The vending machine could be a huge distraction for all of us because, students will be coming in class late, staying in the halls at recess, out of class and not focused much on there work all ways thinking about the snacks and beverages or what ever could be in that vending machine. Most importantly for the safety of all students and staff we don't want the hallways to be full and that could happen when there is a line in front of the vending machine.

They could probably even take the beauty of our school. Our school has a really important rule and that is, “NO SNACKS ALOUD OUTSIDE”. When we start taking snacks outdoors there will be a problem with littering and attracting outside insects, which some students and staff could have allergies. We could possible even attract rodents and insects into our school, especially when the students leave snacks and rappers in their lockers or desks and littering it the halls or spilling the beverage. The only good thing it does is for the bugs. I am sure the custodian would not be happy either. The most disgusting part is when we also start finding
Crickets, they are so noisy and quick they are pretty scary; but have you ever considered eating them. Even though crickets can come off as pretty disgusting they can be very nutritious for the students growth, and helpful for the environment. Now you might be saying why go through the trouble of making cricket meals or snacks, when you can get a lot tastier foods from the store. However crickets are very cheap and aren’t that hard to find at stores near you, this has been helping the switch for other schools a lot easier. We should think about adding crickets to school lunches to provide a healthier, cleaner, and cheaper community.
Smoking is often not just a habit but an addiction. Are you one of them and want to quit smoking? Are you sick of trying weird inhalers, nicotine patches, gum that really doesn’t work? If yes, try your hands at electronic cigarettes. Some people have actually managed to quit smoking by using them.
I believe that I should be one of the few that gets to sit in a chair. Considering the fact that there will be multiple students writing this to you, I hope to persuade you into thinking that I should be able to sit in a chair.
According to the Journal of Law and Health schools that have not banned junk food have had an increase in students more excited to learn because of the sugar count unhealthy foods. Looking at the evidence regarding school lunches from the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture), students need equal grain and protein proportions to have a healthy daily diet, and over the course of 5 years schools that don't have a healthy lunch program have had their students overall GPA almost completely equivalent to the schools that have had the healthy lunch program. Although having tremendously unhealthy school lunches may not harm your GPA it can immensely harm your health. Lots of average students health are in danger just because of unhealthy school lunches, it is very necessary that schools realize that a healthy lunch program is always a beneficial option. Scientists have found that children who have healthier breakfast and lunch get better grades and have increased brain power. Some evidence points to unhealthy food but healthy food is always the answer in an effective school community. Sometimes unhealthy food is cheaper and tastes better but it can be very costly to your health especially as a
In December of 1947, there was a “World’s Fair of vending machines” in Chicago with over 5,000 attendees. The Billboard magazine used to set aside their final 15-25 pages to focus exclusively on the vending machine industry for all their issues released from the start of the 1930s up until 1970. The National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) continues to hold big conventions annually for companies in the business, from the well-known soda corporations to unheard of companies manufacturing and managing the machines all around us. Today the vending machine business is approximately a thirty billion dollar industry (Atkins 2016). Most people do not give the large quiet boxes very much thought but the development of vending machines has

In “Hooked on ‘Caramel-Colored Gold,” Melody Nelson claims “Despite the increased awareness of the benefits of good nutrition, we are a nation hooked on junk food, and many school administrators are taking advantage of the situation ” (par. 3). Nelson propose a ban on vending machines in schools because junk food is unhealthy for children, and they risk future health problems. I agree with Melody Nelson and believe that vending machines should be banned from school campuses, because they sell unhealthy food, they cause more money to schools for hiring extra custodians, and they are affecting children learning abilities.
Dear Coquille School District, I am writing you in regards to extending the length of our lunch period. It is currently only 30 minutes long which does not give us, as students, enough time to eat lunch. Especially if you are like me, and like to go home to eat lunch with your family. In some families, the family members work long hours and they don’t necessarily get to see one another very often. If students were given enough time it is very possible that they could enjoy their lunch with family members and enjoy quality time with them..

The vending machines which have mostly sodas and chips are also convenient for kids, but they are consuming tremendous amount of sugars that are so unhealthy for their diets. In high schools, their hormones are changing and when they eat or drink foods that are not healthy, their hormones respond to those, by making them hyper, unable to learn and to comprehend subjects better in schools.

I am writing this letter in hopes to persuade you to reconsider what languages are involved in the next census collection. I know your time is very important, so I hope to not waste your time, but I hope you will greatly consider my argument.

Dear J.K. Rowling, The Harry Potter Series has changed my outlook on life immensely. The Sorcerer's Stone was a bright view into a wildly creative world on the dreary streets of London. I experienced the books in fifth grade and have adored them ever since. The Sorcerer’s Stone gives a place for me to experience pure joy and wonder. It is a haven for me in the darkening world we live in.
