La8 Mrs. Nitti Joshua Heeren 9/29/17 My first trip to Valley Fair It was my first time going to Valley Fair, I was so excited! We left at around 9:30 and stayed there until 9:00. My dad was taking my sister, Megan, my brother, Andrew, and I for a special treat. It takes us half-an-hour to get there from where we live. “Are we there yet, I asked my dad?” “Not yet,” He answered. After what seemed like forever, we finally arrived. We couldn't find a very good parking spot so we had to park far away. Once we were inside, we debated which to go on first. “Do you want to ride that one,” I asked? “No, we should go on that one,” Megan said. “Um... how about that one, said Andrew. “Sure,” we said. The one we picked …show more content…
We got into the “boat” that you ride, and it started up the ramp to the top. When we got to the top, we slid down really fast, it was awesome! At the end of the ride, the boat hits the water and sends up a huge spray getting everyone wet. “Let's go on a roller coaster next,” I exclaimed! “Yeah,” my brother said. “Okay,” My sister and dad agreed. We picked the Renegade, an old Wild West themed ride. I was kind-of scared because it was my first time riding a roller coaster. The roller coaster went up very slowly. When we got to the top, the roller coaster shot down really fast and turned slightly so that it felt like you would fall. I was terrified. Looking back in retrospect, the roller coaster is not as scary as it seemed. It was one of the best days of my life! I wanted to go check out the arcade too see what it was like, so we walked there. On the way it started raining and we forgot our rain jackets so we got all wet. The rain didn't bother us too much. When we got to the arcade, we checked out the games. There was a nice guy and his son who had to leave so they gave us there card that you upload points on. It had 50 points left and we used them up playing the games. “Let's go on the bumper cars,” Andrew exclaimed when he saw a sign! “Yeah,” the rest of us
to land in the water, which can be very scary, causing the ride to be
First, there is the Raging River. Through the beautiful wooded area of the park, this slide, simulating a ride down rapids, is open to riding by yourself or with a partner. Next, there is the Blackout where you plummet down a twisty slide in total darkness. Following the Blackout is the Twister, the slide where you go into a 360 degree loop, again, either by yourself or with a friend. If you are feeling competitive, the Double Down is a double laned slide where you race someone to the end! This water slide, called the Splash Down, has steep drops where you slide headfirst on a mat into sharp, fast turns. CAT 4 is many people’s favorite, including my brother. This slide is where you fly down a hilltop drop then splash into Lake Lanier. CAT 4 has four lanes, so you can go with a lot of people. The most exhilarating sides are side by side, the Intimidator and Triple Threat. On the Intimidator, you practically slide straight down, while on the Triple Threat, you experience three heart-pounding drops. Finally, the Typhoon, famous for its high turns and rapid decline, this slide gives you the impression of a real Typhoon. These water slides at LanierWorld are sure to appeal to seventh
The weather that day wasn’t as bad as I expected it to be. It was gloomy and it would drizzle once in a while. I enjoyed the drive up to LA, even with a little rain. It took us about an hour and 50mins. We left around 1:00 pm and arrived around 2:50pm. The good thing about the drive was that we didn’t get lost. The only bad part was the traffic. We both expected to get traffic but not as bad.
I had only been once before, but it was forever ago, and I was excited about going. It did not take too long to get there at all. When we arrived we went and got a bite to eat, and then we bought our tickets. We bought two set of tickets for Sara and me, one to go to Kiddy Land with my niece while my sister and her boyfriend go to the big park and then one for later that night for us to go to the other park after we watch my niece. After a few hours of being there, they had not come and got my niece yet and I ended not getting to go to the big park that is night because they forgot all about me.
Soon after, the ride came to a stop and we got off. When I was walking to where the rest of my family was, I was so glad I went on the roller coaster to face my fears. I would totally go on other roller coasters if I had the

There was a girl named Kandy, she was 15 years old. Her life was extremely boring, all she ever did was go to school, go on her computer, eat and sleep. She spent all summer on her computer. She was really good with HTML and spent her free time making web sites. Kandy didn't have many friends and rarely talked to guys because she was shy and unconfident about her looks. That's why she went into chat rooms. She made a web site with pictures of herself on it and told people in chat rooms to go there. A lot of people would tell her how pretty she was and some would say she was ugly. That made her feel awful. When anyone would say anything nice to her, she wouldn't believe them and think that they were just making fun of her. She only had one real friend that she could talk to, her name was Ang.
My father, brother and, I went up north so we could ride the dirt bikes with my father’s friends from work. I was as happy as a kid eating ice cream that we were going up north. The 1st day we went on some of the dirt roads and it was fun. Then we got back to the cabin and after a few hours we went back out again. We went to a lake to view and it looked nice. Then we got back and had a fire and played some games and went to bed.
When we arrived at Michigan adventure, me and my dad we went on the big dipper first. It was fun. Then we went on the zach zoomer. it was super fun. Next was grand rapids and adventure falls. We got drenched! Next up on our list was the water park. This is not the order we did the waterslides in. funnel of fear, cyclone zone, mammoth river, mine shaft, slide winders and other stuff in the water park. We left and ate lunch and went back in the park and did the thunderhawk.#IT WAS THE BEST!!! The sea dragon was fun to. Shivering timbers when you go down the hills makes your stomach drop a ton but it is wooden and is still a fun coaster. The log ride was also super fun to. The wolverine wildcat was so bumpy. After i went
The rides were the best part of Disneyland my favorite ride was the enormous ferris wheel.the scariest ride was the Haunted Mansion.I enjoyed this ride because you can see the whole amusement Park. The scariest ride was the Haunted Mansion. It was frightening because There was ghosts having a party and from the ride you can see them then there was lights shining down on them then the ride keeps going then the lights go out and you can see nothing then it keeps going then you go out of the darkness then at almost the end of the ride there's these three picture frames and you can see your reflection but you were ghosts. Then me and my brother went on an enjoyable small ride so me and my brother was waiting for the amusing ride then we finally went on the ride.I was full of
My trip to Disneyland was fun because ,we rode roller coasters my whole family was there and plus my mom told me to go on my own ,and there and it was so much that’s when I got my first phone and I started to cry.
HAHAHA me and my friend, Kimberly, we are hanging around deciding what we should go on first. We started off simple with the caterpillar. The ride was okay, we rode the ride a couple of times around, but then Kimberly said, "this is getting boring." So, then I said, "let's go to the one where it's like you're flying on kites." That one was fun it feels like you're free and flying when you're going down your stomach drops a little. Then, I was "let's go to the REALLY fun ones."
When I was 12 years my parents and I went on a trip to California. It was the best experience in the world! We went to San Francisco, Monterey, and Yosemite National Park. I had so much fun and will remember it forever.
Charlie woke up on one morning from a rough sleep, feeling like he did last night, not knowing where he fitted in the world. Everything was changing around him, the technology was getting more advanced, the music had more meaning and fashion started to kick in. It was a dark and cloudy Monday morning in Sydney and Charlie was getting ready for school, when he sat down on the edge of his single bed with his covers untucked and half on the bed and half on the fall, Charlie started putting on his school socks. He was still pondering the question that kept him up last night “where do I fit in this world?”. Charlie thought to himself “is anyone asking them-self the same Question, should I know where I fit in?. After pondering this for ten minutes, Charlie had to leave for school. While in the can on his long trip to school, his mother was listing to the radio, she turned the music up. Charlie sat listing to the song with him head on the window of the car and looking out at the house’s, kids walking and talking to their friends and other cars passing them, when he started thinking about the lyrics to this one song, once again he thought to himself “do I fit in ?, should I be a part of this generation ?”. He knew when the song stopped that he had to start finding where he fitting in the generation of the 60’s
