I have been keeping up with the Health Times for quite some time now, yet it seems to me that there is very little talk of vaccines. Getting vaccinated to protect yourself from viruses, at any age, is very important, but some people go without them, and this should be addressed. There are many reasons receiving vaccines is a good decision, and I think more people need to be informed of their benefits. Getting vaccinated can protect you from harmful or even life threatening viruses, protect others around you from the same viruses, and help you build immunity for the future. The first and most direct benefit you receive from getting a vaccine is protection from that virus. Most commonly, people get flu shots yearly to avoid contracting the virus.
